About faith and spirituality George said "It doesn't matter what you call Him as long as you call on Him."

George was a very spiritual man, and I believe he always tried to be the best person he could be. That's a rare thing.

A guide to the Beatles. Paul sings about love, John sings about peace, George sings about faith and Ringo sings about octopuses

He was a very spiritual man, always on a quest to be a good person. Ringo tells a lovely story when George was dying he went to visit with him. Ringo could not stay long b/c he had to go to Boston to be with his daughter who was facing brain surgery. George, on his death bed, asked Ringo, 'Do you want me to come with you?' Ringo said that was their last conversation and tells you everything you need to know about his character. So many of his fellow musicians loved him and often reflected how each felt like they were a close friend--only to realize how many felt that same way. He was very special.

It’s about loving the Lord, whichever you pray to. It is about spirituality and love, and kindness.

As a 76 year old Vietnam veteran it’s amazing that our music is still being played this day and age.

This song got my dad through his last of 3 tours in Vietnam.  He would listen to this song in his stateroom on board the USS Ranger after flying missions as a US Navy fighter pilot.  I thank George Harrison for helping bring my father home safe.

George got into practicing Hinduism and especially the practice of Mantras as a form of meditation. He was a deeply spiritual not religious and he is merging the music into a musical mantra.  Dali Llama , Hari Krishna ,Hallelujah just rolling it  all together as they are all seeking enlightenment

FYI:

In 2001, George Harrison died from multiple cancers at the age of 58.
His ashes were scattered in the Ganges and Yamuna rivers in India in a private ceremony.

George was always the deeper thinker & felt the need for spiritual connection

"HERE COMES THE SUN"   NEXT PLEASE !!! ANOTHER BIGGGGGG HIT!!!!

The first former Beatles to have a #1 single after they broke up. This song went to #1 in December 1970

George was the baby of the group. Just 21 when the Beatles became a worldwide sensation. He grew into his genius right before the eyes of the world.

The most underrated and quiet Beatle

Keep in mind, this was NOT a Beatles song. This was a George solo song off the album All Things Must Pass.

"My Sweet Lord" is a song by George Harrison that expresses a deep yearning for a personal connection with God, blending Christian and Hindu elements to convey a message of spiritual unity, essentially calling out to a higher power regardless of specific religious labels, with the phrase "My Sweet Lord" acting as a direct address to God.

George was just a damn good human, you'll struggle to hear a bad word about him.

For me, George was the most talented and under rated of the Beatles.  He always came across as a very modest guy.

A beautiful song written by George Harrison. RIP George. ❤️✌🏻🎶

One of the most beautiful songs ever. We need the Lord. Now.
