*AMERICAN REACTS TO THE ANIMATED HISTORY OF SPAIN 🇪🇸🔥*
An *American reaction to the animated history of Spain* that takes us all the way from the Roman conquest of the Iberian Peninsula to the modern Spanish economy. This Spanish reaction video covers the Carthaginians, the Visigoths, the Umayyad conquest, the Reconquista, the rise of the Spanish Empire, the Habsburgs, Napoleon's brother on the Spanish throne, the Spanish Civil War, and Spain's road to the European Union.
🏛️ *Ancient & Roman Spain*
We start with the Phoenicians, the Carthaginians, and Hannibal's fight against Rome, watching how the Iberian Peninsula became thoroughly Romanized under the Roman Empire, only to fall to Germanic tribes like the Suebi, Vandals, Alans, and eventually the Visigoths.
☪️ *Islamic Spain & the Reconquista*
This American reaction covers the Umayyad conquest of Visigothic Spain in 711, the Caliphate of Cordoba, Al-Andalus, and the centuries-long Reconquista as Spanish Christian kingdoms pushed back against Muslim rule all the way to the fall of Granada.
👑 *Ferdinand, Isabella & the Spanish Empire*
We react to the unification of Castile and Aragon, the funding of Columbus's voyage, the birth of the Spanish Empire in the Americas, and the dark chapter of the Spanish Inquisition.
⚔️ *Habsburgs, Napoleon & Civil War*
This reaction dives into Habsburg Spain, the War of Spanish Succession, Napoleon's invasion and his brother being crowned king of Spain, the turbulent 19th century, and the brutal Spanish Civil War of the 1930s under Franco.
🇪🇺 *Modern Spain*
We wrap up with Franco's dictatorship, the restoration of the monarchy, Spain joining the European Union in 1986, the tourism boom, the 2008 financial crisis, and the ongoing Catalonia independence movement.
As always, this is a genuine, first-time American reaction — laughing, learning, and reacting to Spanish history right alongside you. If you're from Spain or just love European history, let me know in the comments what surprised me the most (hint: it might be Napoleon's brother 😂).

There are other problems with some explanations or some missing important information that forma some reason is not important for the anglo-saxon history books.
How many witches were burned in Germany?
Cheers from Spain 😉
