🔥 First-time reaction to BABYMETAL’s “Shanti Shanti Shanti” — and we were blown away! 🔥 As new explorers in the BABYMETAL universe, we didn’t expect the stunning fusion of Indian musical influences with hard-hitting J-metal to hit us like this! From the mesmerizing traditional sounds to the intricate choreography and powerful stage presence, this performance left us in awe. The respect shown to Indian culture while maintaining that iconic BABYMETAL energy was pure magic. Whether you're a hardcore BABYMETAL fan or just discovering them like we are, this video is a celebration of cross-cultural metal fusion, authenticity, and first-time raw reactions. Monochrome at PIA Arena or Megitsune also at PIA Arena in 2023 . 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
"Shanti Shanti, Prana of living beings
Shanti Shanti, Chakra blooming life
Shanti Shanti, Samsara of living beings
Shanti Shanti, Karma, be in high spirits"
It's great that Su has an opportunity for some vocal pyrotechnics on this one.
And I'm sure they loved learning this choreography.
Moa mentioned learning the hand gestures was challenging, since it was unlike anything they had done before.
The theme of the 'Metal Galaxy' (2019) album had BABYMETAL traveling the galaxy and picking up musical influences.
Looks like one of the stops was at Planet Bollywood. : )
At 14 years old, Kano Fujihira was our youngest avenger (supporting dancer).
She's now one of the four members of the JPop group @onefive.
Like the BABYMETAL members Su, Moa, Momoko and Yui, they are all Sakura Gakuin graduates.
Sakura Gakuin was a school themed Idol group.
BABYMETAL began as one of their sub-units, categorized as "The Heavy Music Club".
