I think Mr. Perfect's entrance was, well, perfect.  He tosses the towel behind him, Bobby Heenan catches it, he spits the gum and slaps it away.  You immediately know what this character is about and it's not pandering to the audience.

Everybody waiting for the Iyo dive spot reminded me of the guy getting ran over by the steam roller in Austin Powers...just...walk away dude...

As a kid, loved when Raw would start with a match already in progress. I was supposed to be in bed at 9, so getting to see a few minutes of wrasslin' on that show before mom gave me the evil eye, was a real treat.

Shoutout to my wrestilng crew at school for giving me the run down of the rest Nitro and Raw.

Lower-mid Card Jey Uso doesn't have the same ring to it does it?

I love how it’s getting to the point where Stevie almost goes into a trance when he does the AH-HA AH-HA AH-HA at the very end 😂

at this point it should just be called Taco Bell in a Cell

Here's what gets me with some of the run ins. The heels will just run in, but the faces wait for the music to make the save.

That clothesline was both Punk having zero athletic ability and him trying to catch himself on the way down early. Bron had zero help and momentum to flip over

Seeing Taker jumping OVER the ropes at Wrestlemania made me feel like he was in a different gear than his normal wrestling. It felt supernatural, and it's what made the streak feel so compelling as a concept, at least to me. Glad it got mentioned here, because things like that should be RARE, not every week on a weekly show in a match that won't mean anything anyway, since it ends in a DQ, interference, or other shenanigan that'll make it meaningless in the end.

The highlight of my Friday viewing habits right here, "Must-Steve TV"!

I’ve watched Jey uso ever since his debut and I’ve always loved watching him grow into his own talent but personally I think some of these mistakes you see him do in the ring boils down to him being gassed from his entrance and the fact that he’s always been a tag team wrestler which means he’s pulling more of a load in the match now then when he used to he’s also been wrestling for almost a lifetime by this point and could be really struggling with pain by this point

The Iyo Sky trash can is the stupidest move of all time.

It's something you would see on "America's Dumbest Home videos" where some moron jumps off a wall in a trash can, there's a "boink" sound effect, they get hurt, and you laugh and say "what were they thinking."

No one has ever or will ever do a blind trust fall in a trash can in a fight.. it's obviously not a realistic offensive maneuver

LOD entrance. What.  a.    RUSHHHH!

Maria blew the kiss on entrances

The shy guy in the background is pretty cool. Have a great weekend fellow stevies

Listening as I set up my school library after the kids left in a Friday

I started watching JCW last week and I gotta say, I was PLEASANTLY surprised! What a great product they have going there. The show has a flow to it, there is a storyline that goes on throughout the show. The matches have great psychology. The characters are interesting and finishers actually finish people. The show ended on a cliffhanger which I haven't seen in years. It was great and Russo was amazing on it. I highly suggest checking it out!

Hey Stevie! I watch you all the time. I am now recovering from emergency spinal surgery on my neck and watching you. God bless you guys and thank you for all you do

Look forward to this every Friday

If I were in charge of WWE (which is never going to happen but for the sake of this post, just go with it), one of the first things I'd do would be to address the problem that is the 30 minute mic spots that open pretty much every show. I'd have Raw GM William Regal (nothing against Adam Pearce, but Regal is there and more Regal is always a good thing) come out, but there'd be a countdown clock on the titantron set for 5 minutes. Regal would explain that in order to stop superstars yammering on for ages, he's installed something in The Gorilla Position...The Gorilla Cage. Inside said cage would be a wrestler who hasn't been booked this week as there wasn't enough time for them to have a match. Their identity would be hidden by a Gorilla mask. If someone comes to the ring and goes over the 5 minute time limit, then they'll hear "Release The Gorilla!". At which point, the wrestler in The Gorilla Cage would be released and head to the ring...suddenly it's a match between whoever was taking up valuable screen time and whoever is in the Gorilla mask this week. If the Gorilla wins, they get to take the mask off and have their moment. There will probably also be a rematch the following week as they'd have just embarrassed a top star. This way, you get more wrestling on a wrestling show whilst sticking to the sports entertainment aspect of the show. If the Gorilla loses, they go back into the cage. The Gorilla would usually be someone from NXT or Evolve, but some superstars who don't get much time in the ring could do it to, such as R-Truth. He might actually be the first one. Oh, and the 5 minutes would start counting down as they make their way to the ring, so Jey Uso will have to cut back on the yeeting seeing as though that often goes for longer than 5 minutes, at which point he wouldn't get to say anything. It's not a perfect work around, but it would mean that they could still have the mic spots, but they'd really have to get to the point unless they want to have to fight off a wrestler who is missing out on TV time because of the overly long mic spots.
