He is one of those  overlooked players who constantly perform. A pillar in test  team alongside Rabada.

Virtually unplayable at his peak, which was the majority of his test career! A rare talent!

I miss the old South African team

And now he's the coach of Pakistan🤩😍

South africa 2008-2016
West indies 1980 -1998
Australia 1995-2008
Best test teams ever .

Who is here to see his performance after he has became bowling coach of Pakistan for the T20I World Cup?

I love this South African Team a lot.. Missing Hashim,
AB Diviller
Dayle stayn...🙇😭😭

Philander as appointed the bowling coach of Pakistan in t20 cricket world cup

This was the game that ended Peter Nevill, Adam Voges, Callum Ferguson and Joe Mennie's test careers.

I wonder if Denzel Washington and Philander are related.

He was as lethal as James Anderson when the ball swings. Just a brilliant bowler to watch.

Despite South Africa not having Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel in this match. They bundled out Australia for 85 in their own den in Australia that too in Hobbart in Tasmania where Australia never lost a test match on a hot sunny day on a Flat wicket and a batting pitch and a batting paradise which looked good for batting and ground being smaller than other Australia ground.😍😍😍. Australia were lucky that South Africa didn't have Steyn and Morkel in this match to face, South Africa dropped 3 catches and had 4 not out decisions by umpires but still Australia got all out for 85. 😅😂🤣

Who is watching after he is  pakistan bowling coach

Smith is just unbelievable, bowlers wrecking havoc on batsmen on the other end and he's just chilling waiting for his half century.
I remember in nagpur, when there was square turn on every ball,19 batsmen found it difficult to score more than 20,that man made a century on that pitch, that century was the most difficult century any batman would have made.

Terrific bowler. Unplayable when gets bit of help. Shows how tough SA pace attack in 2015-16 was when they had help they didn't allow even steve smith to score runs with tail.

Every test team not only need a 140kmph bowler who scares the batter but also need a 125kmph bowler who bowls so accurate batters got frustrated.

Thank you cricket Australia for providing this kind of highlights. Among  all the happiness one thing that hurts is that you can't see the masters live on white. Miss you Vernon Philander .

Who is here .....after Philinder became a bowling coach of Pakistan

Short test career, but was one of the most accomplished bowlers.

+ Smith scoring 48* out of 85
+ Aleem Dar is the umpiring GOAT  🐐
