The opening theme for "The Apothecary Diaries" is titled "Kusushiki" and is a song by Mrs. Green Apple.
The lyrics and music are written by Motoki Ohmori, who is also the frontman of the band and handles vocals and guitar, as well as production.
The other members are guitarist Hiroto Wakai and keyboardist Ryoka Fujisawa (who is also skilled at playing the flute).
They use a real orchestra for their recordings, and they do the same for their live shows.
What's more, Motoki Ohmori's vocals are truly phenomenal in a live setting.
I highly recommend watching their live performances.
Many of their performances are available on their official channel.
They just released their latest album and are currently on tour in Japan.
Please be sure to check them out.
