I like that TWST isn't about redemption. It's about people discovering their flaws, making peace with them, and growing and changing in a more natural way. I LOVE that the boys don't change all that much from their core selves after their books are over because real growth takes time. Instead they make little efforts here and there while still being true to who they are. They show that growth is happening at a more realistic pace.

Damn....10-15 dorms that would take the story for atleast 15 years haha

Cater was actually supposed to be the white rabbit character, sporting red eyes as well !

It is really ironic that Disney Japan comes out with the tons of smart marketing strategy while Disney America just over focus with useless tons of Live Action Remakes projects

sofia the first insipiring twisted wonderland is smth i was not ready for. descendants, maybe, but sofia the first was such a surprise

Knowing that Sebek was gonna be more depressed than his loud, bombastic self shocked me. I guess Yana was gonna display his internalized hatred of being half fae half human akin to Minato from P3. Good thing they didn't go that approach or I'd be sad for Sebby more than i already am

I do understand what they're going through but seems to me that Yana is going on a morally grey route with the boys. They're so unapologetically themselves despite what society thinks of them.

Ok but Riddle being a sassy little brat is somehow intriguing to me😂 also Leona having more of a mane (fluff) look to him is feeding my soul!!

beta riddle my beloved 😭😭

Yana sensei literally predicted evil Riddle AGH I LOVE HOW SENSEI DRAWS HIM LIKE THAT

One of my favorite aspects of Twisted Wonderland is its story, particularly the reason why the main character is a beastmaster. In the game, it's mentioned that the other students couldn't become beastmasters because they are self-centered and unwilling to work together.

Wait hold on, pump the breaks……why avengers?? WAS THERE GOING TO BE A MARVEL DORM WHAT?

7:43 That was probably recycled to be part of Deuce, as he has the “running late” gimmick of the White rabbit

the old pomefiore uniform was giving the onceler or musitaro from bsd 😭😭

As a Riddle simp, smash on bad boy Riddle HAHHAHAHHAHAHHA

I find it interesting that Ignihyde is a technology-based dorm, while the villain that it's based on is an ancient god of the underworld who is probably the oldest villain among the other villains who had dorms based on them. At the same time, it does make sense since the real myth of Hades and his Roman counterpart, Pluto, were also gods of wealth because of their association with precious minerals found underground. And you do need wealth and access to special minerals to create some of our modern technology.

10:29 I think that's because he wasn't. My theory is that isn't Kalim, but TWST Iago. Kalim is based on the Sultan, who isn't a villain. Iago in the first movie is a villain and Jafar's sidekick. I can see her adding Iago in the first draft because of his ties with Jafar. Plus, if you look at the design, he almost has a confident and serious expression, which would match up one of the movie drafts where Iago was the serious one out of the two. She probably scrapped him and replaced him with Kalim for one reason or another.

To be honest, I like the setup Yana has for that dorm now much better. Jamil being the top guy in Scarabia would mean that he has everything that he has ever wanted right out of the starting gate. While fighting off an openly proud and more egotistical version of Jamil would've been cool too, he would've been too OP, lacked any real goals, and not be as nearly compelling as a character. Replacing him with Kalim and giving Jamil the backstory we have now gives his character more direction and lines him up more with Jafar, who was a vizer that wanted more power for himself. I think that you can't have one without the other in regards to this arc. It's not Scarabia without Kalim.

Nice work, a couple of these guys definitely got a proper glow up. Also, ponytail Deuce is so something I want I'm making it official in my own headcanon that he gets that look sometime in the future just so I can say it's still real!

Kalim was originally frowning?? Now that's unexpected lol

I can see the Aladdin resemblance more with the pre-Kalim design, especially with his black hair.

Imagine the current twisted wonderland characters meeting their concept Design

Great now I'm imagining Idia having a breakdown since his concept Design is technically just a human Version of Ortho

I love how Scarabia's earings were Red Parrot feather like iago
