What happened to Leafs Talk man. I looked forward to you and Sammy after the game every night.

You guys gotta get the Leafs talk fired up after games again, create your own Youtube channel and turn on the memberships and super chats. You got a fan base in place waiting for it. Nothing fancy, just you and Sammy talking Leafs after games again.

that's really cool to bring out Gavin having his first point and goal at home ...How much more special that is then on the road... I bet if he had a do over that would be his welcome to the NHL moment.

Rarely you can anybody so smart and competent like Kris Versteeg to actually knows what he is talking about. Real Pleasure to hear him.

@RANDALLOICKLE 4 hours ago

Love to hear that in depth hockey knowledge from Versteeg! it's so refreshing to hear Considering all the criticisms from people who don't know the inner workings of an NHL lineup, puts things in the proper perspective!

The Matthews/Sundin comparison was so on point

We're so back

what a huge contrast and change of thought from last years over time starts ..when you're wondering who do they put out there after Matthews and Nylander.... now you have so many more options ..its crazy🤪 🤪

(First Period aside)
What a night
JT waking up, Kenna getting his point then clipping it top bins
Willie winning it with that snip would have been epic
It's coming together, I think going on the road might actually help even more (shame it's a real tough stretch upcoming)

In my opinion McKenna was handled perfectly. The ONLY thing that could have spoiled his positive night would have been a game losing error late in the 3rd or OT. Hes going to have plenty of game winning plays and overtime opportunities, last night wasn’t it. Let the big boys carry the load, Gavin did his part.

I feel like hiller already made up his mind and wanted to reward cowen for the last two games but did not want to hurt McKennas confidence moving him down so he waited for McKenna to have something to build on rather then cut him down.

Where’s postgame leafs talk?

@jamieteixeira4076 1 hour ago

JT needs Marchenko and Cowan for the defensive aspects.

I wonder how many days JD will be crying if McKenna is carrying the Cup in a couple of years. Not sure if he could handle so much joy in his life.

@Michael-pg7rv 1 hour ago

1st line: McKenna, Matthews, Marchenko
2nd line: Roslovic, Tavares, Nylander
3rd line: Cowan, Paul, Sissons
4th line: Duhaime, Blueger, Groulx

I've never been so excited for a podcast in my life lol

Still cheesed there was no “Leafs Talk” to enjoy last night.

@KarenSockett 4 hours ago

i wish you podcasters would quit equating the negative noise you all make with the fans..You need to own your own shortcomings and stop making it sound like all the fans are doing it.

@RANDALLOICKLE 4 hours ago

your average NHL defensemans success hinges so much on your forwards buy in to make them look good or bad ,,,,You don't have to look any further than Seth Jones! not very good in Chicago goes to Florida Looks like a million bucks!

JD half the arena is comprised of folks who have no clue about hockey. There on expense account.
The hockey culture within one hour around Toronto is unbelievable and accounts for more NHL talent - by far the- than anywhere else.
Rogers needs to subsidize sections of the barn to get the crazies in. Charge the non crazies the subsidy.
