I really like this, a while ago i learned basic swing dancing and this is a really good refresher for me and amazing for beginners❤

Open Hold : two hands out in front
Closed Hold : leader left hand in front, right hand under follower's shoulder blade
0:36 - Basic Step : 6 count, triple-step left, triple-step right, rock-step back with left
2:10 - Left Rotating Basic : follower goes first
3:06 - Right Rotating Basic : leader goes first
4:06 - Outside Turn : leader flattens and raises left hand during first triple-step, turn CCW on second triple-step
5:38 - Inside Turn :  leader pulls left hand up and through, allows leader to reset their hand from on-top to on-bottom
7:14 - Waist Break : leader raises right hand, spins CCW, drags left hand to the right side of waist, catches follower's hand with right hand, then inside turn
8:29 - Shoulder Check : 8 count, leader triple-step left and turn CW, rock-step forward with right and pull on follower's right shoulder

pretty sure even I could do this, and that's saying A LOT. This was an excellent instructional video.

I have a dance tonight, and this video may have helped me get into this dance with a little bit of confidence! Than you so much!

Ur directions are so easy thank - I for sharing  luv line dancing ....

This was a neat video, nice that you showed a move, showed for both, repeated, and then did the move again. Not sure if it's what I'm supposed to be watching since I'm going to a jazz swing in the Netherlands but at least I have the ideas in my head lol.

Bravo, very helpful

Hello Mr. Brian and Mrs. Meghan. I think your way of explaining is really excellent. Thank you very much. My husband and I have been able to enjoy couple dancing as a hobby for about 15 years. 3 years ago we emigrated from Germany to Panama. Unfortunately, this type of dancing is not established here. But since we miss dancing so much, we are currently in the process of founding a dance group with some other couples who are enthusiastic about dance. Your videos will help us improve each other's dancing and learn new things. It's a pity that we have to do without "real" dance teachers. If you ever travel to Panama, we would be very happy to visit our dance group. Please keep up with your amazing videos. Warm greetings from Panama. Sonja

Given that this is a 6-step pattern, would the selected music follow the 6-count, meaning a 3/4 beat rather than a 4/4 beat?  With the 3/4 beat,I would always be on my dominant foot (right foot for me) on beat 1.  Is that right?

I’m very much a beginner. I’ve seen videos that teach the basic pattern as rock step, triple step, triple step, and ones like yours that teach the basic pattern with the rock step at the end. Is there a significant difference?
