They discuss, amongst other things, whether George Russell’s title hopes are now over, if Max Verstappen and Red Bull have the best car in F1, could Ferrari have won the race if they’d started on a wet tyre and, crucially, what happened on the formation lap that required a software update to the cars before the race could begin.

There was genuinely more overtaking on that formation lap than the entire Spanish GP!

It was most distressing to hear thousands of people had to walk 10k in the heat without adequate water. This in an environment where people were earning fortunes. I would insist every team provided free water for the fans.

Guys, please watch the onboards of FP2 in Australia from Max. They had exactly the same problem and FIA did nothing about it…

Usually, the sponsor gives the direction, and the venue organizer simply follows what the sponsor says. In my experience, MotoGP events organized by Malaysia have had no problems handling 100,000 spectators every year.

That was the best overall race this year so far, with a close 2nd to Monza with Kimi's win

My favorite podcast always. Love the quasi-informal conversations between truly awesome people.

Safety car was out for far too long and the formation lap was horrendous but the racing itself was good

What a weekend in Sepang 🤘🤯😂
So glad we sew this race back on the calendar. Craziness from the start, and what a top three at the end 💪.
Great race review, keep it up

To be fair, the last time they went to Sepang, there were only averaging 40,000 people. Numbers for the weekend were over 100,000. Maybe they did not realise how many people were going to come. Still no excuse

I'm glad F1 tech flows down to my road car. When I'm driving it, I want it to feel like an F1 car. Maybe one day, it will break down when I'm driving it slowly in the rain.

When you have a one minute penalty, you can for sure control a race with software. Get rid of the software NOW

I’m a Malaysian, first time I’m hearing a Langkawi curse 🤣🤣🤣

It’s surprising that everyone is singing the praises of that engine, yet no one mentions the whole saga: Honda developed it, handed it over, then changed their plans again (it’s funny how many times they’ve left the sport). After gifting the specifications to Red Bull, Honda came back—but they’d lost all their engineers! Meanwhile, Red Bull—with Ford’s help—managed to build their own engine in just four years, basing it on the work done on that 2021 Honda unit! And yet, nobody here talks about that!!!!

I was chuffed for Christian Horner to see his dream n belief in making their own engine and it wins Respect ✊

I'm happy that you started off by highlighting the conditions that the attendees had to suffer.
As an OAP attending a race for the first-time, it was horrendous.
It improved on raceday because a kind official rescued us from a queue that stretched from the hillside entrances B & C, to the main Grandstand enterance – 2 hours or more.
The race itself more than made up for it – despite the FIA making up the rules as they went along.
A great three days but the efforts involved were immense.

@kidShibuya 10 hours ago

Yeah, I was there waiting 5hrs in line in the heat with no food or water all day due to Sepang banning it. Not acceptable is an understatement. But thanks for mentioning it, it seems nobody is talking about it at all. It's just luck nobody died, especially considering all the people collapsing in line.

@kingk9027 21 hours ago

Cadillac better BREAK THE BANK for Liam. He’s the kind of driver who can take this team to the next level.🔥

@christinateh5473 11 hours ago

The race was prepared about two months, do you expect everything is perfect? Gives some credit to Bahrain that brought the Sepang circuit back.

@Richard_B_kzn 21 hours ago

Naomi, that picture behind you is blowing my mind! How can a Singapore hotel have a picture lower then the other? My OCD has kicked in.

@jengaaboi6847 14 hours ago

After the race we got in the queue for the shuttle buses at around 9.30pm, and got back home at 1.30am 😭😭sounds like the organisation is pretty good for SIC for MotoGP so seems more like a BIC issue
