On January 8, 1943, FBI agents raided Nikola Tesla's hotel room hours after his death. They seized over 80 trunks of papers, notebooks, and blueprints. Some have never been declassified.
This is the story of the most famous inventor of his era — the man who electrified the modern world — and why the United States government was so desperate to control what he left behind. From his birth during a thunderstorm in 1856, through the War of the Currents against Thomas Edison, the financial betrayal at Wardenclyffe by J.P. Morgan, the lonely decades feeding pigeons in Bryant Park, and the final cold winter morning when federal agents arrived at Room 3327 of the Hotel New Yorker.
The FBI's full file on Nikola Tesla was not declassified until 2016. Portions of it remain classified today — for documents written by a man who has been dead for over 80 years.

❓ KEY QUESTIONS THIS VIDEO ANSWERS
Why did the FBI raid Tesla's hotel room?
The FBI was responding to nearly a decade of public claims by Tesla that he had built a working "death ray" weapon — a charged particle beam capable of destroying aircraft and battleships. With World War II at a turning point and the Manhattan Project running in secret, the U.S. government could not afford to discover a Tesla weapon by reading about it in a Soviet newspaper.
Who was John G. Trump and what did he find?
John G. Trump was an MIT engineering professor and the uncle of a future U.S. president. He was assigned by the Office of Alien Property to evaluate Tesla's papers. His official report concluded that Tesla's last work was "primarily of a speculative, philosophical, and somewhat promotional character" with no evidence the death ray had ever progressed beyond theory.
What happened to Tesla's papers after the FBI took them?
Some were eventually returned to Tesla's nephew Sava Kosanović in 1952. Some were sent to Wright Field, the U.S. military's primary advanced weapons research facility. Some were never returned at all. The FBI's full dossier on Tesla was not declassified until 2016, and portions remain classified today.
Why was Wardenclyffe destroyed?
The Wardenclyffe Tower was Tesla's attempt to transmit electricity wirelessly to the entire planet for free. When J.P. Morgan understood Tesla was no longer building a wireless telegraph but a system that would make energy meterless and unprofitable, he stopped funding the project. Wardenclyffe stood unfinished for 16 years before the federal government ordered it demolished in 1917.
How did Tesla actually die?
Tesla died alone in Room 3327 of the Hotel New Yorker on January 7, 1943, at age 86. He weighed 117 pounds. He had been living for the previous decade on a small monthly stipend from the Yugoslav government. His body was discovered by a hotel maid named Alice Monaghan, who had been ignoring the "Do Not Disturb" sign on his door for two days.

I think if Tesla could've built several of those towers.........he would have built a circuit
which is neccesary for electricity.......or was it enough to let the electricity go into the ground in stead of that circuit...!!
