During an interview with Joey and Dee Dee in 1986, someone asked them "When they decide to retire, how will it go?" And Dee Dee said it'll be them alone in a room with four baseball bats and they'll go at it with each other until the last man is standing. Classic Dee Dee. RIP.
The infantile bickering, the childish pointing out of Joey that Marky is wearing a wig, the yes you did no i didn't back and forths like dimwitted two year olds, i am just loving it and glad to see they are not polished adult artists with a gimmick but are actually in real life nothing more then a bunch of kids, never lost their youth, their creativity, and their energy. This interview and their childish fight makes me laugh. God Bless Them.
This is funny , especially how everyone is saying on Howardās show how well he treats his employees?? Proven he douche out on all of them . Howard is as honest as satan on broken polygraph
Johnny comes across as the sanest of the bunch in this interview. I have to say that I have some sympathy for Marky in the spat with Joey. Joey just didnāt seem capable of letting things go, persisting in asking Marky for an apology when Marky tried to meet him half way. I think Monte Melnick said the same thing in End of the Century documentary - Joey just couldnāt let anything go. Band are legends though and loved this interview with Stern.
Classic Dee Dee. RIP.
