A spouse that doesn't help you does not love you - you are "the help".

The wedding is for you, the marriage is for him.

If marriage benefited women they would have taken it away from us already.

When talking about men, her last thought ending with, "They're not worth the trouble." says it all. It's simply not worth the trouble anymore.

😳😳OMG, that Woman reading off all those accounts of “marriage”…🤮 I would rather die alone in a literal pile of cats.

Men are asking for women like our grandmas. At the same time, our grandmas are telling us not to be them.

No 50/50 because he can't get pregnant, carry children or birth them. How do we account for the life risks to the woman while we're both going 50-50? No!

I’ve been single going on 4 years now and the biggest reason is because, I REFUSE for a man to think that the body I’ve lived in BEFORE I met him and possibly, AFTER he will most likely be gone is MY body and NOT his! Once you are in an exclusive relationship and begin having smex with a man, he’ll always expect it and at times may even have issues when you withhold it. Or try to guilt trip you by saying he’ll look elsewhere. I’ve known of women that have let other women into their bedrooms to “spice” things up, in fear of losing their man to cheating…. And guess what??? He STILL cheats!

I was a SAHM for 12 years, it is unending servitude 24-7, in the next 5 years I found the Fair Play system to split chores, thus made things a bit easier,  but I was still doing all the emotional labor for our family and the relationship.  Do not recommend.  I'm getting divorced atm.

A 40 hour a week job, is a vacation, compared to staying t home.

I'm most grateful for the women on social media who have been filling in the gap where my family and other women around me failed and are helping me re-educate myself over the past two years about the realities of men, marriage, and motherhood. I'm not "against" marriage. I've simply been given enough information to make an informed decision about what's best for me, that is: decentering men and marriage altogether. I'm happier than I've ever been after the last guy I encountered 2 years ago.

Like so many of us, especially those of us who grew up in the church and in African and Caribbean communities,  we've been misinformed about our roles as women in this world.  I'm 47, single, childree and staying that way.

These are the same men who claim Jesus and think all of this is biblical

Omg, I thought it was alone in the world. Divorced 6yrs & happy celibate! Cooking, helping with homework, basket of.clothes in had. He just laying in the bed "waiting for me" I just went to throwing baskets and dishes on multiple occasions. Im so thankful to be single & I dont even want to entertain anyone again. I tried to date but they so quickly asked about S.E.X. Im so tired of it.

He's suppose to lead and she is to blindly follow?  No, we are not animals needing to be led around with rope.  Women are free thinkers just like men, and deserve equal consideration and privilege.

Been there, done that. My ex was a useful in the house and at a certain point I was making more money than him. He lost his jobs countless times and while at home all he did was scrolling on tik tok. Getting the divorce was the best decision of my life.

When I had my child, my husband took a week off work to supposedly help with the baby.  On day one of being home, I told him he could make lunch.  He made lunch only for himself.  It did not occur to him to also make lunch for me.  On day three he decided he would do some landscaping projects in the yard.  He should not have bothered to take the week off because mostly what he did during that week is to get me upset.
