Ok, so I'm an idiot once again.  The reason I have not had the proper clearance for the tire lever over the duckhead is because somewhere over the summer I inadvertently flipped the sliding sleeve over on the main beam.  This puts the vertical post holding the duck head on the wrong side of the beam creating less room to work.  Now that it is flipped back around like it is supposed to be the machine is even easier to use lol.

To add some info to this product, yesterday I just changed my 37x13.5x20 wheels and tires on my H2. I was actually able to pull the duckhead assembly by hand and not even use the long bar. This is such a simple yet useful product especially with the mod. Great video.

Nice you mentioned the bead clamp by name in this video. That and duck heads are so important to make tire changes easier with a manual tire changer. I have seen others use the second tire iron but leave the one further back before removing and for some reason that works better. The person that did that did it that way on all tires and it really looked as though that was the ticket to doing it easier every time. Very nice video.

Older vid I hope ya see this. Instead of a bolt to lock the bracket/assembly onto the square beam, grind the welded on nuts off. Set the assembly up for your 22" wheel (or what ever size) and then drill a hole down threw the bracket/assembly and the beam. Drop a pin or bolt in and your done, easy to repeat! Can also drill holes in the beam for 15", 16" ect wheels. As long as you use the same style duck head this will work. It worked for me any way! Cheers.

Now I know it's possible to do this on nice rims at home myself, thank you for the video! Do you know if this will work on smaller rims like 14" and 13"? Awesome video! Sub'd after watching!

I did the same exact tire size recently with this tire changer with the Amazon adapter and I know what you mean about the bolt getting in the way when removing the tire.  I just used brute force to rotate the tire until it came completely off.  I figured since the tire is gonna be replaced it doesn’t matter how messed up the side wall gets.

Pay attention to the movement of the valve stem during tire removal 7:11. There is excessive pressure on it, which could damage the TPMS sensor. The valve stem is in the wrong position during tire removal.

I have this set up as well.  Its still hard to change a set  being 65 years old. But still satisfying never the less to diy.  However,
Heres the problem that im encountering changing  out tires with a new set:   Once you buy a new set of tires and have them delivered to your residence, so convenient,  mount them, bubble balance them, you have to "HOPE"that you have no issues with your new  expensive  tires.  This is because you DO NOT HAVE ROAD HAZARD when mounting this way.  Its sad, but that's what I have encountered.  
If anyone knows how to get road hazard when purchasing tires and installing them yourself this way, please let me know.

Based on your review of the Corghi head, I bought one and you're right, it is much better than the Hunter head the duckhead mods usually come with. Another good thing to use is nylon covers for the tire irons. They work great. I'm also using the "yellow thing " bead keeper as shown on the Nomar channel. I do a lot of low profile racing tires on my little Harbor freight changer so I need every advantage.  You have good videos.

I am wondering if on the second or lower bead removal you will have an easier time, 8:53, if you spray lube on the down facing outer side of the tire.  At that time I see the GE and also the corgi from the top down, inside of the tire, allowing the tire to stay put on the rim.  It's the way I do mine by looking at the contact surface needing lube and then I put lube there.  I think the fairly heavy squeaking is telling me it's dry.  So many others miss dropping the tire down low as you put the iron in for second bead removal.  I am glad you showed that.  So much easier to get the iron in place and then easier to bring the tire and iron up as a unit.  Your first bead went on tremendously easily, that was nice.  I use the head for both beads but I leave the head above the bead I am wording on.  I use it on the first bead as I watch people fall or nearly fall over doing it manually.  I have never left mine on the machine for seating and haven't tried pushing down on the tire to get the first bead seated but it looks like it makes things much easier.  I will try that myself.  Very nice rims by the way.  Thoughts?

I don't think you're an idiot....you made that look way easier than the day I had today with my F-150 Platinum.
Aftermarket 20 x 9 with factory tire size 275/55/20....I messed up one rim.
Not my first go around with the manual changer, but everytime was a terrible experience with low-pro tires.
And the new tire DID NOT just push on the rim....had to pry it...that's how I damaged my rim.
Then, the rear bead would not seat to save my life.....finally, after all day, I decided to try the front bead first, then pushing down on the tire with a 1" ratchet strap around the circumference of the tire to seat the rear bead and air up. The tire changer beat the hell out of me and my rim.
I had an easier time mounting 35 x 12.5 15 on 15 x 10 rims just on the ground before.

So what's the difference between $326 duck head adapter, and the $32 one I have in my Amazon cart right now from exodius?

Think a decent three-stage home spray can paint job on the rims would survive it?
