None of these are about building a relationship but about using someone, intentional or not, to fulfill an emotional need. Difficult advice but I know you're right, and it's helpful. Thank you.

Not every smile, quick reply, or moment of eye contact means romantic interest. Attraction is better understood through consistent behavior, genuine effort, and clear communication over time.

Often these signs are misinterpreted as signs of interest when they are just manipulative and not genuine at all

There's someone I've been slowly talking to, and I actually had to remind myself not to share too much. I know I've done so with other people in the past. But what I've been seeing right now seems to be mutual attraction, and I'm REALLY trying to keep it slow and not rush.

I’m not sure if i agree totally here. Maybe i agree a bit but nothing is 100% in this world. I don’t talk about anything too personal with anyone but if it’s someone special which im pretty good (not 100%) feel that some thing special then I’ll open more and more than i should at times. It’s not just a romantic thing -it could be friends as well. I don’t do this often so some people feel real special if i do open. I’ve had relationships go decades so yes it did work opening up. But yeah some people kind of use opening up as a weapon and actually a way to try and trap you and it’s actually something they use later as a way to bail out and push a way. So it’s like a storm in than storm out.

This clarifies a lot. Thank you.

Well, everybody on the internet is saying these things but nothing is actually true from the broader perspective. People are different and observers are different and this process is too complex

I randomly met two guys in my life (roommate of a friend was going out with us and man who works in the same building). Both started to tell or write me about their family problems (divorce of parents, sick father). This behaviour is very repelling for me. Too much too soon, because I am also someone who opens up very slowly.

Your partner is a hell of a lucky guy

As a therapist I love your content! Mainly for my own healing on why I tend to fall for traps or sometimes I do these things without thinking.

Damn. You nailed it again. As always: Short, sweet, and to the point! Thanks Liz. 🙏🏼

This is a good video. #2 is what can cause (or be the result of) Limerance. Don't be a pathetic Simp, like i was. This was me, texting her for YEARS even though she had a boyfriend. Ridiculously pathetic.
