The Pitt is proving that competence porn is the best genre, and Abbot exemplifies it. Shawn is such a wonderful actor.

Wild that after acting for many years, now he becomes a proper household name. He's getting booked and busy.

"By the way, in this day and age, when someone admits they don't know something, they deserve a standing ovation". Priceless!

I love that there's no background music to manipulate your emotions or give it the feeling of 'this is TV'... It's just the sounds of the hospital in real time and that makes it so realistic - what a great choice!

Damn, he was always a handsome fella but he looks GOODT with the gray.

Just want to shout out to Shawn Hatosy. He is phenomenal on the Pitt and he doesn’t even get a ton of screen time. I wanna follow that character into swat situations he’s so fascinating. Great job.

Shawn Hatosy looks like he could be the third Meyers brother.

I'm so happy that he's finally getting the recognition he deserves. This man is an excellent actor! I loved his work in Animal Kingdom, Pope is insane, a brilliant performance.

What's amazing about his character is the fact that on the last episode of the first season, we learned that Dr. Abbot has a prosthetic leg. No back story. No further mention. Excellent choice.

We need more Dr. Abbot!!!

My personal favorite scene ( and there's a ton to choose from) is from season 1 when Santos performs a risky procedure without supervision to save a patient's life and moments later Abbot arrives and officially rips her a new one but unofficially is her cheerleader and very impressed.

They really need to expand his presence in season 3 somehow.
