Elvis did not perform in the style of Black musicians. He played the music he had grown up with: a blend of White and Black musical styles. This gave him a unique, unparalleled sound. His first record was a success not only because of his own version of *That's All Right, Mama*, but also thanks to his own version of *Blue Moon of Kentucky*.

It was a Wax Dummy !That is what was in the 900 lb Copper Casket along with a battery powered portable cooling unit to keep the Wax from melting. Everyone that observed the '' body '' in the coffin noticed that the forehead had '' beads of moisture ''.Gene Smith, Elvis's 1st cousin, said that the Sideburns had been glued on and kept coming loose! Gene also stated that one could feel the ''chilled air'' all around the casket that was coming from a cooling unit within the coffin.When Gene asked Vernon where Elvis was , Vernon replied , '' He's safe, Don't worry,He's Upstairs resting. We had to put something on display for the fans!’’ ELVIS did NOT Die on August 16, 1977 ! NO ONE is actually buried there at the Meditation Garden in back of the Mansion.
