"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan discusses who Andre the Giant didn't like to work with in the World Wrestling Federation. Stream New Shoot Interviews 📺 http://TitleMatchNetwork.com

Hacksaw talks about his former friend and opponent Andre the Giant who he had met years before enterting the WWF. Duggan tells us how some things would bother Andre in the ring such as Randy Savage wearing too much baby oil or Big John Studd using the top rope.

Hacksaw even reveals a match between Andre the Giant and Bam Bam Bigelow that ended with Bam Bam leaving the arena directly afterwards without saying goodbye to anyone.

When I was a teenager, I was at the airport with my family, and there was a whole group of wrestlers waiting for their flights at the gate next door. Andre. Jimmy Hart, and about 10 others (this was in the 80's, so I've forgotten most of them) but Hacksaw was also there. My younger siblings wanted Andre's autograph, but we were cut off by Jimmy Hart telling us he doesn't do autographs. I was over 6 feet tall and 200 pounds as a freshman in highschool, so not a small guy, but I clearly remember how tiny and insignificant I was next to Andre, dude was absolutely massive. Hacksaw took time to give my siblings an autograph, and talk to them for a couple minutes, dude was very nice.

He was the first wrestler I ever met as a kid and quite possibly the nicest!

Jim is a wonderful guy along with his wife Debra. Met them in Detroit at their comedy

Nice enough fellow to the fans, but I've heard Duggan was one of those legitimate tough men in the business during his heyday. Certainly, looking back, he was a big, jacked dude, very strong looking. Didn't notice it as much back in the day during WWF.

I remember when 'Hacksaw' lived in Titusville,Fl. He had a place there that sold his brand of Beef Jerky. Oh My! The Best! My wife used to work(waitress) at restaurant in Titusville and he would always leave her a great 'tip'($).👍💪❤🙏

Hacksaw was my childhood favorite. American flag in one hand and a 2x4 in the other. Hoooooooe!!!! Great bit

I saw Jim wrestle Andre at a house show in Philly a couple months after Wrestlemania IV. It was a decent match and I remember Jim nearly knocking Andre off his feet. They chased each other outside the ring where Andre grabbed the 2x4 and hit Jim with it and got back into the ring and won by count out.

The second nicest Jim I’ve ever met….the first is Earthworm Jim

I was a big Hacksaw fan when he was in Mid-South/UWF. He was tough as nails, and the top babyface after JYD left. The WWF had some good stuff, but mostly a caricature of himself, more kid friendly than the realistic approach in MSW.
