You mentioned Melisa being on the "run". I'm not a detective but I personally think she was on the "hobble". 😂

I feel so bad for Melissa’s son. It breaks my heart that he is having to live this nightmare. She was so self serving and her selfishness is going to cause a lot of heartache for her son.

Australia, being in the southern hemisphere, has winter from June to August. February is during their summer.

“Let me tell you this story is weird. And that’s a lot coming from someone with a tin foil hat on.” Bahaha ❤ you

As someone who has had my leg amputated  I can say that the pain is excruciating. No amount of pain meds help with the pain of nerves being severed.  She'd have to be totally insane to do it willingly. If she did she is definitely certifiable.

Oh my gosh, I can't believe you saw my recommendatiom ! I knew you'd be the perfect woman for the job, this is definitely your niché. Thanks so much for covering this case, you did a fantastic with it as you always do. I truly hope Melissa's family is able to find some peace one day. Especially for her sons sake, my heart hurts for him the most. We can only hope for some answers one day because this case is crazy from start to finish♥
Where'd she go? where's the money? And why would she screw over those she "loved" the most or perhaps those who loved her the most, is probably more likely.

It was only 3 small bones, not an actual foot. I have a chunk out of my left foot (accident at age four) and I have carried on with the foot still attached and functioning.
It's no coincidence that the beach where the shoe and bones 'washed up' was the same beach at which she regularly holidayed.
Melissa is a narcissist and would not have killed herself.

‘Backpacking Pom’ means a backpacker from England; us Aussie’s call English people ‘poms’

She cut off her own foot to “go on the run”!!  She won’t be running very far!!!

I dunno, the husband seems suspicious af, he's hard core defending her despite the evidence against her and how he said they didn't talk about the raid at all, come on that's not likely.

For people like Melissa, I don't even think its about the money at that point. its like they're addicted to the thrill of it. the power trip they get off deceiving people. sick. her poor son and victims.

Who runs away and leaves their feet behind? Lol nah, this lady is probably deceased. 😐

Your reaction to his music made my week.  Your sense of humor is amazing for true crime!!

He can’t possibly claim anything. All the money, assets, property, collateral, etc would be held as evidence!

"cut off her foot, and now she's on the run" you missed a top joke there.

True crime fans know why feet often show up on the shore. It's not a conspiracy. Love you Noor!

Person to look up, Kenneth Parks. He murdered/attempted to murder his in-laws and was found innocent due to sleep walking but he did go to jail for fraud shortly after the murder. My mom babysat his kids before and during the trail. An old case from the 80s but very interesting how he got away with it. In the 2000s he applied to be a trustee on a school board, after being found guilty and serving time for fraud, obviously he was denied the trustee position.

A phenomenon of feet washing up on beaches began across the world. Reason? Whenever a body sinks to the sea floor predators consume the soft tissue, like the area between the foot and the leg.  Sneakers with foam cushioning makes the shoe float, often with the foot within it. 15 missing persons cases, at the recording of the video I saw, have been solved through these floating sneakers.

To scam your family is probably the lowest you can be. Obviously scamming strangers is bad too but to look your parents in the eyes and promise you'll take care of them when in fact you are scamming is monstrous

1:45 Cut of her own foot and "she is on the run...."
correction has anyone seen a hopping woman on her right leg?
