Long before dreams were dismissed as random brain activity, the Book of Enoch treated them as something else entirely — a channel of revelation, recorded in detail in its own Book of Dreams.
In this episode, Genesis Unsealed explores what Enoch's dream-visions actually reveal, why this apocryphal text linked dreams to divine communication, and how that compares to the modern, purely scientific view of dreaming.
This investigation draws on the Book of Dreams section of 1 Enoch, its Animal Apocalypse imagery, and the broader ancient Near Eastern tradition of prophetic dreaming — including its echoes in the canonical Bible itself.
