I want to know is why is KOC hates short passing plays so much? Can we see slants or curls or just dink and dunk?

Short, simple passes with Wentz (he can see over the D-line) at QB.  Everything seems so convoluted.  Execute on a simple plan to get first downs.  Forget long plays.  Eventually a long pass will open up.  Simplify.  If you execute, it doesn't matter if the defense "knows" what you are going to do.  QB sneaks work all the time when everyone knows you're going to do it.  No more genious OCs.

They don't need a superstar at QB. With this D they just need a solid game manager who avoids costly mistakes.
Remember the Baltimore Ravens winning it all with Joe Flacco in the driver's seat?

I know how to fix offense start Carson Wentz

Koc needs to work on kyler's leg kick. 😅

Forget which video it was on, but Red Head Redemption: 2 Electric Bugaloo was immediately catapulted into top 5 Jeromisms of all time

You pretty much nailed it on your 5 things. The only thing I would add is when was the last time you saw the O-line blow a hole open for our backs. We have had this problem for years. We get a new O-line coach and it is still an issue.

Lowkey think we should fire koc, promote flores to hc and find a new oc

Vikings Offense issues:

Vikings went low financial risk on Kyler who is middling at best and doesnt fit the scheme. Then he split camp practice reps with JJ, now gone. And he got hurt right away.

We needed both RBs and Mason hurt week one. Could have used a more veteran all around back in the 3rd string spot vesus the sprinting project Demond. As we can see the trust is not there.

Unfortunately, the biggest need, beside a good QB, is consistency and stability. Those take time. Fortunately we are 3 and 0 and should be 4 and after Sunday

Kyler Murray Was not is not and will not be a fit for the style of offense KOC wants to run Picking him up in March Was the wrong decision Period

New owners, HC, QB, RB, RG. There ya go!

KOC and KM are incompatible. KOC wants to have his extremely complex system, which about 5% of QBs could manage

Two things can be true at once:

KOC is a good HC.
KOC is not a good play-caller.

if Kyler Murray doesn't do well this weekend we better be looking for another option at quarterback ASAP

Need more of these our offense has been the reason for our lack of success for so long 🫩

Excellent points from Andy. 👍 As I’ve been saying about Jordan Mason, I don’t think we should underestimate the impact of losing the services of Josh Oliver.😕 Last, I will point out that Wentz has made at least one bonehead throw in each regular season game & another in one pre-season game. Among the bad throws were (a) the lobbed ball completion he threw against two backup quality defenders in the pre-season game, which surely would have been an interception against starting DBs, and (b) he threw a terrible INT in the end zone that fortunately, was negated by a penalty in a regular season game. So, while I have been generally pleased with Carson Wentz’s play since he joined the Vikes…and while IMHO he has looked better than what we’ve seen so far from Kyler Murray…Wentz would have to be much better if the Vikes expect to make the playoffs & win some post-season games.🤔

4.) Take away play calling from KOC

KOCs offense has been among the worst in the league going back to the end of the 2024 season!  22 straight games!  Kyler is terrible, but this problem goes back way before him...through Wentz, McCarthy, Mullins, Darnold, etc.  The problem is KOC.

This problem isn't going to get fixed by the return of Mason...Mason was here for those bad offenses last year.  And it's not going to get fixed by Kyler playing marginally better (how much improvement can you expect from a guy 6 seasons removed from his best season).

The first step to fixing a problem is identifying the root cause,.  A good NFL offense  averages ~400 yards per game.  In the past 22 games KOC has ZERO games over 400 total yards, and only TWO games over 350.  This is a bad offense.  We have great receivers, a top 10 offensive line, good playmakers at RB and TE.  Good personnel, bad results.  #6 salary spend on offensive personnel in the league.   That's bad coaching.  KOC has had five years to build this offense and it is the worst in the league...#32.  He needs to be replaced.

If you are too scared to elevate Flores, then at least take away play calling from KOC and turn it over to Phillips.

Run game is a offensive line stat. We need to lean in on the strong side in a cloud of dust to open deep ball

people also criticize wentz game against the bears, but they dont reealize that if kyler played that game we wouldve given up at least 2 turn overs.

KOC is really needs to get all three WRs involved. It can’t be that hard. Use your best talent !!!!!!!!!
