SKZ are literally huge Monsta X fans.

Technicaly speaking Monsta X is the blueprint for a lot of the 4th Gen boygroups.

@YoutubingEnjoyer 18 hours ago

monsta x are the 3rd gen blueprint to ‘noisy’ groups like ateez and stray kids. a lot of gen 4 groups are inspired by them!

@nnnicole10 19 hours ago

Monsta X's discography still top tier, Jooheon + I.M still one of the top rap duos, Kihyun still one of the top vocalists!

@JanetDockrell 18 hours ago

Joohoney writes, composes, produces most of their songs, he has 180 writing credits on songs, not just for monstax but for other groups too.

MONSTA X - THEY ARE THE FIRST K-POP GROUP TO HAVE THREE ENGLISH ALBUMS!!! 💯💯💯💯💯🔝⬆️

I wish people did at least a little bit of research before saying anything about MONSTA X; it is SKZ that sounds like MONSTA X, as MONSTAS influenced most of the 4th and 5th gen groups' sound ❤‍🔥 Show the K-pop Elders some respect! 😭

Thanks for reacting! They just released a new album The Phase with the title track Magic. It's really good!

THEY ARE STILL VERY MUCH ACTIVE.
Here's what they've been up to in 2026:
Monsta X released their 3rd full English Album "Unfold" in April (IT'S A MASTERPIECE, YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO IT).
They also released another Korean album last month!! It's called "The Phase".
Joohoney (the main rapper) released another solo album in January.
Minhyuk released a single in June.
Kihyun (the main vocalist) released another solo album too in July.
Shownu and Hyungwon are Monsta X's only sub-unit for the moment, and they also released an album in May.
I.M. is in the military now (he enlisted in February).
They're also touring this year. They came to South America in June (I travelled from Ecuador to see them in Chile. SO worth it), and they just started concerts in the US last week.

also like other people have mentioned, monstax(3rd gen) paved the way of "noise" music sound for 4th gen groups like straykids and ateez. they the og

Literally the BLUEPRINT boygroup. Period. Also Jooheon is quite literally the best ACE in Kpop history and ill fight anyone that tries to argue otherwise lol

They didn't sing these songs, but Monsta X - "Queen" and "Nobody Else" always stay on my playlist

@kathyoh6891 16 hours ago

Kiss or Death was robbed. Deserved as a title song.

Thankyou for the reaction, they're so amazing, They have such a wide variety of music genres, and one of the things I love most about them is how contrast their rap and vocals are, yet they blend together so beautifully. I really hope you’ll give more of their songs a listen and get to know their music even better! 🥹💕

It’s never too late to stan Monsta X. In fact, you’re right on time. They released their third full English album this year, and if you're interested, they’re currently touring the United States.

They recently released another album called "The Phase," and the title track is "Magic," in case you want to check that out too. They’re pretty active, so keep an eye on them.

P.S. The youngest member, I.M., is currently fulfilling his military service, just in case you don't see him in this latest comeback, haha.

@lynettetracht1836 8 hours ago

yes MX released their 3rd English album this year as well as a recent Korean album called MAGIC

Congratulations, you've officially entered the Monsta X rabbit hole! 😂🐰 Spoiler alert: THERE IS NO EXIT.

Since you mentioned Stray Kids, fun fact: SKZ are huge fans of them! You can definitely see Monsta X's influence on a lot of 4th-gen groups. These men were inspiring the next generation while the world was sleeping on them. 😭

They debuted as seven, but unfortunately, they're now six. However, to us Monbebes, they'll ALWAYS be seven. ❤️ Wonho left amid a controversy, and although it was a painful time for everyone, there were no hard feelings between him and the members. 🥹❤️‍🩹

They had a comeback about a month ago, but they're promoting as five because I.M, the rapper on the far right, is currently serving in the military. 🫡 And YES, they mention Monsta X in some of their songs.

Their discography, variety shows, solo content, performances, and chaotic personalities will keep you busy for MONTHS. Their vocalists can rap, their rappers can sing, their choreography is INSANE, and their stage presence should honestly come with a warning label. 😭 They're criminally underrated and SO underappreciated for how talented they are!

Enjoy your stay 😆
