Koi also represent perseverance, since they swim against the current. To me, the koi being robotic kind of feels sad, like we went to an extreme to ensure survival, to persist. Through the fungus we live, but we lost autonomy and integrity in the same way that the Koi is a robot. It feels like the Koi lost meaning and therefore life loses meaning. Does that makes sense? Maybe im way off, but i found it a little depressing lol

Great video! It reminds me of “That which gave chase” it has the same motif of a fungus infecting the mind of a group. The last of us, Signalis and Alien Isolation are some other games that I would guess also inspired the creators of this great game!

it reminds me a bit (tangentially) of hothouse by brian aldis, a far future spec evo novel that includes a brain fungus that enables humans (one human anyway) to have higher thought again.

from the moon plaza and prism research center its obvious on what im saying,
but also take note on the significance of flowers, and even flowers being in the canal.

and also the eclipse starts BEFORE us waking up, and the eclipse meets, and guess what chapter comes after the cutscene.
