In August 1969, a series of murders shocked Los Angeles and became some of the most infamous crimes in American history. But the people who died are too often remembered simply as “the Manson victims.”
In this video, I wanted to focus on who they actually were.
Sharon Tate, Jay Sebring, Abigail Folger, Wojciech Frykowski, Steven Parent, Leno LaBianca and Rosemary LaBianca all had lives, families, careers, friendships and stories long before their names became forever connected to Charles Manson.
We’ll look at their lives, what happened to them, their funerals and where they were laid to rest — remembering the people behind one of the most notorious crimes in Hollywood history.
They were more than victims. Speak their names.

He was loved by his family, and his life mattered.
He was not famous like many of the other victims, but he was the first victim that night on August 8th, 1969 at Cielo Drive.
A lot of the main stream media seem to concentrate on the most famous victims.
Im glad you have talked about him and brought attention to this young kid.
He was at the wrong place at the wrong time…and he’s now forever 18.
R.I.P to all the victims.❤️
