I literally just buried my husband today. This sketch gave me a much needed laugh. My husband would have laughed too! Thanks to whoever shared this.

Watching Carol Burnett try to keep it together when Robin Williams is on a roll is comedy gold.

My heart is still broken for the loss of this genius. This walking, talking magic.

Never will never be another Carol, Burnett or Robin Williams. I’m just glad that I grew up watching them. I still watch Carol Burnett. She’s my favorite.

There will not ever be another wonderful, frenetic tornado of genius comedic talent like Robin Williams. My heart broke that day.

For those interested...this skit isn't from "The Carol Burnett Show".  This is a sketch from a one hour comedy special that aired on ABC in February 1987 called "Carol, Carl, Whoopi and Robin".  Carol Burnett hosted the show with guests Robin Williams, Carl Reiner & Whoopi Goldberg. Robin Williams won an Emmy Award for his performance in this special - well deserved for sure.

Carol Burnett is the funniest comedienne ever!! Her show and standup never disappointed. And her timing was spot on. Her voices. A truly gift woman. Love her!!!!

Mr Williams, you were ahead of your time, your improv skills are unequaled, you are missed!

Two comedic geniuses at the height of their craft.  It is so cool to see how they ad lib and feed off of one another in a live situation. I could not stop laughing. When I think of either Carol or Robin it brings a smile. This is the Robin Williams I will remember. Thank you Carol and Robin for bringing so much laughter into my life.

First was funny...second was HILARIOUS. Robin took the small bits of dead air in the first scripted sketch and made them amazing. Carol's energy in the improv was great too.

I'm just glad this footage exists and there's even more out there.  Whenever i'm blue.  These two lift me right up.

Robin gets Carol to laugh when he sings the jump down turn around song and then to see him smile as he realizes she is trying to hold back the laughter is a great moment.

Robin could get anyone to laugh!
That man was pure magic ❤🥲 Rest in peace kind soul.

Carol understood the comedic value of inserting the absurd and downright bizarre in slice of life sketches. I bet this was a real treat for her.

Robin truly was a genius.  The master of improv.  I am so glad I came across this video.  I had never seen him work with Carol.  As a child I would watch her show with my mom and laugh hysterically.  Robin was perfect for this skit!  Thank you so much for posting this.  And of course, thank you Robin for making us all laugh so hard.  You will be forever remembered and missed!

Got to give Carol Burnett a lot of credit for this skit. This stuff could only happen on her show. She recognised William’s talent before he became a huge hit. A lost venue for creativity.

2 legends right there. There will never be another Robin love him. He is truly missed. I love Carol she is a comic genius

Carol Burnett was the perfect straight man.  I love both these comedians and I never knew they did the sketch together.

We miss Robin, no one could improv like him and he was always hilarious!!!❤❤❤

That fact that Carol got Robin to laugh during walk through with her keening tells you how funny she was.
And then Robin had to return the favor during the take with the song where Carol struggled to keep her composure.
Both such talented improve comedies that I am glad are immortalized in digital media.
