The Brokenwood Mysteries Season 7 Episode 2 đ The Brokenwood Mysteries Season 7 Episode ...
Episode Summary:
Brokenwood is buzzing with excitement. The community centre is in festive mode displaying antiques galore. For our favourite town is hosting none other than an episode of âAll Things Old and Beautifulâ a travelling TV show about antiques featuring Brian Bottoms, an authority on all things old, curious and preferably extremely valuable.
Brian Bottoms (pronounced âBeau-toms) is a household name, a star that eclipses his co-host, Jennifer Furrows, an ex-weather girl from the 1990âs who quite honestly loathes and detests âold crapâ but hey, itâs been a good gig up until now.
Several of Brokenwoodâs regulars have personal artefacts on display in the hope that Brianâs and Jenniferâs collective wisdom will herald that their heirlooms are worth a small fortune. Even Jools Fahey shows up with her new beau Lord Anthony Ashbury with an antique painting to be valued. And all goes well⌠exceptâŚ
The next morning as the crew prepare to leave their hotel Brian is found dead in his room. The showâs director, Andie, Producer Louise, sound op Gemma, Camera op D.K.Tremain and Jennifer are all put under suspicion as Brokenwoodâs CIB team try to figure out how celebrity Brian died in the grip of a local antique heâd only purchased the day before, the victim of being garroted - a favoured method of assassins from days of yore.
As Mike and his team are thrust into a world of antiquities, secrets are revealed of those in front and behind the camera, and a series of questions needs answering, including the most important; who killed Brian Bottoms?
