Is it possible that you can beat the entirety of Pokemon Black / White with only Level 1 Pokemon? No EXP gained, no levels gained--the weakest pokemon you can aquire in Generation 5. Let's find out.

The mod to spawn Level 1 Pokemon is PKHex, huge thank you to SmallAnt and AtSign

Its funny how in a normal pokemon play-through it feels like 95% of all pokemon abilities do nothing because they dont stop a fireblast to the face. But in this style playthrough its like they are all pretty effective.

I find it so funny to see him struggle with N’s team after skating around wild encounters with the smoke ball because N’s team is literally made out of random wild Pokémon from the areas around where you fight him.
No matter how far he ran the wild Pokémon still found him in the end.

Imagine Reshiram coming to your aid to help you to fight Zekrom, just to see some weird fan, a magnet, a pinecone, a firefly, a deer and whatever Aaron is poison it to death

You know it's funny how Eric is trying to avoid wild Pokemon but N exclusively uses Pokemon that are found in nearby routes.

I just wanted to take a second to say that your videos have seen a very noticeable upward slope of quality, and that you should be proud of your work. You are doing great, Eric, and I look forward to watching you suffer through more of these insane challenges in the future! :D

Pointcrow: "N's team is specifically crafted to end my challenge."
N: "It's just the local wildlife, dude."

ok but the oran recycle stall is low key genius even if it has a limited number of uses

Gotta make a confession: I have played Gen 5 more than any other Pokémon game short of maybe Mystery Dungeon 2 and Ranger 3, and I still fall for N's Zoroark Every. Single. Time.

Playing this game as a kid was so cool. It may not look so impressive now but seeing stuff like Skyarrow Bridge and N's Castle for the first time was mind-blowing as a kid, I didn't know the DS was capable of things like that.

Imagine training your entire life to become an Gym Leader and some kid with a level 1 magnet and a deer with a pinecone in his hands just absolutely wipes the floor with you

This must have been painful losing a shiny to save the run

Its so funny to see N counter his team so effectively by pure coincidence. It felt like each time he learned and tried to counter it in a new way.

So you've beaten pokemon black with level 1 pokemon. Now it's time to beat pokemon black 2 with only level 2s.

@khianidude 4 years ago

8:42 his team isn't crafted at all, it's the opposite! He just uses pokemon you can catch on the nearby routes. Releases them and does it again for the next time.

I swear some pokemon abilities seem to be designed solely to ruin weird challenges

Unnerved doesn't have disallowed magnemite to eat berries, it just makes them self conscious that he doesn't have a mouth

Love Chilan’s dialogue after 2 hours of stalling.
“Er… is it over now?”

I really love how you’re enjoying gen 5 overall.
Many people trash talk about the Pokémon design, but that doesn’t really matter imo. Gen 5 is my favorite and I’ll die on that hill

Made me smile to see the level 1 aron, seen that trolling on showdown so many times with that set, sending people with level 100 legendaries into a frenzy. Great video as always!
