But it also has a side that doesn't usually make the pretty pictures. Limited space, water, breakdowns, organization, uncertainty, maintenance, and minor inconveniences are all part of daily life.
In this video, from my old motorhome Penelope, a 1989 Pilote R470, we're going to humorously discuss 10 types of people for whom this lifestyle might not be a perfect fit. Not because there's one right way to live, but because we all have different needs, quirks, and limitations.
And perhaps the most interesting thing is discovering that the problem isn't the motorhome itself, but the expectations we carry within it. Because living on wheels doesn't mean having a perfect life or being permanently on vacation. It means choosing a different way of living, with its advantages, its disadvantages, and its own set of rules.
