Hello. This is Lee Ji-young Official :) [ https://bit.ly/2L6apc0 ]
Cuties, today I'm here with a video titled "Introduction to the Trolley Dilemma, from the opening of Professor Michael Sandel’s 'Justice'."
This is a question that cuts across the entire ethics curriculum.
What choice would you make?

1. Go straight on the emergency track, or switch track?

2. Push Mr. Big off the bridge, or not?

3. If it were your dad on the emergency track, go straight or switch track?

Sandel’s book is full of ethical dilemmas that make readers think carefully about their choices.

Some people even finish the book and ask, “So… what’s the right answer?”

But the point of the book is more about raising the question itself than giving a simple answer.

In this video, I introduce Michael Sandel as he’s taught in modern ethics courses, focusing on communitarianism and virtue ethics.

If you're curious about the rest of the philosophy lectures, please watch the videos below.
I hope you enjoy it :) Thank you for always being a source of strength. ♡
You are precious, no matter what they say.
