In Middle-earth, if you leave Minas Tirith, the capital of Gondor, and head northwest with the White Mountains on your left, the road will lead you to the vast, verdant meadows of Rohan. The people who lived there were valiant men who built their lives on loyalty and forged a spiritual bond with their horses. They called themselves Eorlingas, but were more commonly known as the Rohirrim. These people, who would change the course of history, especially in the Third Age, actually lived not in Rohan at the beginning of the age, but much further north, near the Grey Mountains. So how did the Rohirrim come to Rohan? This is the story of the Rohirrim from beginning to end.
