Oh man, what a relief to see some quality content. No stalling, no AI voices, no AI-generated photos, no AI-generated incorrectly-spelled subtitles, interesting info. Thanks.

Harry Vanda owned the guitar and he gave it to Mal. George had nothing to dowith that process. I worked for AC/DC for a few years in the early days. When I first started Dave Evans was still the vocalist. Bon and I shared a place in Carlton in Melbourne for a couple of years. I miss all the boys. Great times, great mates.

Malcolm was the ultimate engine

When ever I hear Malcolm plays, that tight rhythm is just what a band needs. It's what holds everything and anything in AC/DC

Love your dedication to the great Malcolm Young

MALCOLM WAS AND WILL BE FOREVER THE KING OF RIFFS.. !

Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd are an engine room unlike ever seen before or since.

Malcom Young Always Loved, Never Forgotten, Forever Miissed ..

Would have AC /DC ever reached that regions, without him? Everybody knows Angus. But Malcolm ?
He was one of the best in creating these riffs, simple but enormous, which made them a stadium band.
R. I. P. Little, big man  !!!

"Friday On My Mind" is still 40 years ahead of its time.

So most guitarists are worried about their lead tone but I have a friend who owns a guitar store and we refer to the guitar you will play for rhythm as "the Malcolm".

Ya know, I’ve never really delved into to this kind of detail.  This is fun!!!  All I know when I went to their concerts was who I went with, and what I was drinking.  I have to honestly say that the only time I really got into their sound in detail was at home from my speakers and my headphones.  My wife and I had just married….High School was only a few years ago, and she had never done or said anything wrong in her life.  I took her to an AC/DC concert and she climbed up on my shoulders and started flashing the band.  I had no idea she was doing that…again, it was the whole experience, not individual details.  But I play guitar, lead, bass, and organ, so this kind of stuff is very cool!  You caught me hook line and sinker!  We went to Power Up event a bunch of months ago.  This young kid told me…”I’m so happy to see old people here!”  HA!!!  I nearly clocked him.  I was doing AC/DC before sperm and egg created his dad!  But I just smiled and joined in the fun!  We were in the front standing….with earplugs this time!  It was sad to see so many band changes, but we still loved every minute of it!  Looking forward to your future updates!  I really enjoyed this one!

It's insanely insane how insane this insanely insane guitar is. Insane.

Malcomb's guitar sound formed the core of AC/DC's sound. Think "Jailbreak" and "Shoot to thrill."

At 3:19 in your montage, the artist is Billy Thorpe, a brutal blues rock guitarist in the 70's who played like a sledgehammer. He was a 60's popstar as a singer.

I had no idea their brother was famous first. Nice video kid

Probably commented on elsewhere. So Malcolm was interviewed about the red wrap. So in this era it evidently was a wrap on it. It peeled up and was catching on him and annoying him so he used a screwdriver and dug it off. To fix the gouges he then sanded the top, he used a belt sander to fix it back to smooth. Remembering these are 3 sheets of cross glued ply.

Such a simple instrument but yet it sounds like an absolute beast hence its name. Even nice knowing that I believe it’s currently buried with him in Australia which is where I believe it should be & should remain. Rock in Peace Malcolm. ⚡️⚡️

Malcolm is the King of Riff. As much as I've loved the band since childhood: There can be no band without one or both of the brothers. Everyone else has come and gone and come back again, but those two are mandatory... Malcolm riffs made every AC/DC song what it is, and nobody else.

Hey Jimes thank you for sharing this passion with us! It's nice to be able to share this between crazy people who are passionate about every detail of our beloved group!!! Always a pleasure to follow you and exchange with you!!!! Thank you for everything 🙏🙏
