I used to be a skeptic but realistically speaking, synesthesia happens amongst musicians commonly and there's no reason to assume that we cannot train ourselves to create new associations with our Sensations. This is wonderful, I practice Qigong and this makes a lot of things click

I used to do this every morning as a kid.
I just want to add, for me, seeing the morning sun through the window blinds made the lines reveal themselves. I felt a shift in my eyes and then i could shift my focus to other things, like my fingers. It got stronger with practice until i easily identified colors.
Just sharing to say perhaps the morning sun enhances this practice and can help you

When I was practicing taichi and chigung regularly I began to be able to not only feel chi but I could also see it clearly. I never mentioned it to anyone including my teacher because I thought, no one is going to believe me. I was afraid they might think I'm crazy. This video confirms what I was seeing.

In the 70s when my son was a little guy, we did this as bedtime fun. I called it "playing with the energies." We played with stretching the energy, making ribbons, patterns with it. Describing the colors, the feelings of magnetism. Very fun bedtime activity. So easy to do.

I remember once when I was little, maybe 8 years old, and I noticed a blue purple glow around my hands while I was outside playing. The glow got more vivid and easy to see when I waved my hands back and forth right in front of my face with my fingers spread. I was so blown away by this that I asked my friends to wave their hands to see if I could see the purple in between their fingers and they all looked at me like I was crazy and told me I was weird. So I was like, "I'm not making it up!" and despite explaining no one believed me. Lol. So, I kept this to myself, basically tuning out what I could see. But, as an adult I still see the glow around everything. I guess over the years I just practiced being able to tune it out or tune it in. It's funny, like, I wish I had someone in my life all those years ago that could've helped me grow the skill. But, better to learn more now than not to learn it at all. Great video!

I accidentally saw this one night, it was dusk but not completely dark, i kept staring around my fingers in my bed, as i saw it had some vibrating quality next to my hand. (I assumed it was because it was dark and my eyes focusing kinda bad). And when i put another palm or finger close to each other, the energy in the air tried to connect like electricity or like that plasma coil reaction. After staring at these for a while my eyes relaxed into it and the slight shimmer turned to big streaky waves around my hand or kind of a white halo around my hands. Just blinking my eyes could reset my concentration though, so i focused hard. After a while i also started seeing the color of the streaky lines. It was really nice experience :) wanna do that again sometime

I recently received a talisman made of gold, with phenakite gems sorrounding an aquamarine gemstone and as I wore this on a necklace, my black tshirts kept getting a strange UV purple colored mark where the talisman sits. You helped me understand what was causing this. Thank you. ❤

I've been seeing this for years, since I was a kid. I see it everywhere I go. When I commune with cannabis I can REALLY see it. Amazing stuff, thank you for giving people the gift of this knowledge!

I was able to feel qi but was not able to see it well until I practiced Zen Shiatsu. After working with people and submitting to their qi to facilitate their healing, I was able to feel qi very far off the body (or relatively so, about 3-4 feet). And precisely scars and breaks through their clothes that I was not able to see due to covering. Then I also began to see acupoints and meridian activity and subtle manifestations more. I could see the energy of one or two masters very clearly. I was at a teaching of a very aged Daoist monk and he let his qi shine. It was a bright gold stretching off of him about 3 feet. My Kaishan master also let us see his qi sometimes. Otherwise he kept it hidden. But when would get animated he also had a golden qi and when he would gesture suddenly orange streaks would swirl out from his hands. It was sort of funny, like a cartoon the mind makes because it cannot really comprehend something so unusual.
