Shakespeare wrote a line in Hamlet, which describes this woman perfectly: "The lady doth protest too much, methinks,". They pay you to WORK, not to flap your gums. There are times when suggestions, and ideas are appropriate. At ALL other times, just STFU, and do your JOB! This has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with race, from the employer's perspective. And you are not being a strong anything, you just want to be in control, and do everything your way. Being strong, is not about always being in control. When you're not the boss, it's the boss's way, or the highway. You chose the highway.
Her employer also has the right to have thoughts and opinions, and their opinion was that she wasn't worth it. Several times I've politely questioned something at work and the explanation always made sense. You don't know all the things the people above you have to consider. Being a loud, obnoxious know-it-all doesn't make you "strong". It makes you insufferable and highly replaceable. It has nothing to do with race. White people like her get fired too.
She has a lot to learn, and a long road ahead, life going to humble her in many times and in many ways. But hey good luck to the lady she said she had children or something.
I cant believe the conpany didnt realize she was a strong, black woman during the interview, or during the several months she worked there. What a slip up by the "white supremist" HR.
She talks so damned fast, like she's had too much coffee, and it's all, "me, me, me." You have to know your place in any organization. As far as I'm concerned, when my boss says to jump, I ask how high.
The extreme self confidence is a common trait for women like this, she can do no wrong, she is always right, god personally put her on this earth to achieve greatness.
She seems to have a strong idea of how she expects things to be and no one can tell her anything. She might be better off being a business owner instead of being an employee.
