How is this considered breakcore? When did the breakcore name get picked up my internet anime kids and distorted to mean basic ass dnb?

The drums: Don't even think about it

man I dont even know what breakcore actually is at this point, everyone's just arguing over the correct genre in the comments. im just here to enjoy the music lol whether its called dnb, jungle, or literally whatever else

I love that a lot of breakcore songs use Lain as their sample or make references to Lain in their title, it's so lovely

I feel there's a subgenre of breakcore that's focused on sadness/nostalgia, with all these piano samples and reverb, it's really imerssive and nostalgic!

I love Breakcore. It feels like I am drowning in a sea.

The song at 4:40 used an italian song called "Eppure sentire", if you're interested

Whatttt!??!? This isn’t break core!!! It’s actually hyper melon bravo tank dnb freestyle supreme core, which is a sub-sub-sub-sub-sub genre. Gotta get it right next time 😬

@plamata67 4 years ago

Breakcore is like EXTREME liquid dnb

Man that second track has me in tears

This is beautiful! I'm starting to get more breakcore songs in my recommended. This really feels like I'm opening a portal to an unknown universe alone. Thank you for posting this!

1:40 this bit and onwards feels like being in a big wet cold cave. That’s the only way I can describe it

i hate how expansive this genre is how tf am i suppose to get into such a vast genre of music.

I’m so glad this new generation has breathed new life into my all time favorite music. Makes this ol’boomer smile

@grimmestcreaper2212 4 years ago

"emotionally unavailable" genuinely just made me cry

It looks like only a couple days after the entire human population turned to ghosts, where things haven't gone to ruin, but there is nothing but shadow demons roaming the streets

At least that's the vibe I got from the painting

I have no clue but some of these songs remind me of my childhood when I played Spore alot, I guess its just the simple droning and sound samples to instruments used.. Calms my soul.
