We explorea dragon even bigger and faster than Caraxes, known as the " the blood wyrm ," a " red dragon " that brought devastation during the Dance of the Dragons. This video dives into the fearsome impact of Caraxes, a key figure in "targaryen dragons" history. Imagine a Skyshrieker, nearly twice Caraxes's size, a " dragon battle " of epic proportions, a true force of nature in the world of "fire and blood" and " game of thrones ."
Caraxes the Blood Wyrm. The serpentine nightmare that devastated the Riverlands during the Dance of the Dragons, and in my opinion, the coolest murder in the dance. His wingspan was around two hundred sixty-two feet at his death. The dragon that made even seasoned dragonriders nervous.
Now imagine a Skyshrieker nearly twice that size, and just as mean.
Four hundred twenty feet of living lightning. A dragon so fast she could outrun her own scream. A beast that could fly higher than any dragon before or since, navigating by starlight while every other dragon was grounded by storms.
Her name was Aelyrion, called Star-Shear because she cut through the night sky like a blade through silk. For three hundred fifty years, she redefined aerial supremacy in Old Valyria.
This is the story of the greatest Skyshrieker ever bred. The dragon that turned reconnaissance into warfare, racked up a twelve-thousand-person death toll without burning a single city, and died in a way so beautiful it became legend.
Before Caraxes terrorized Westeros, Aelyrion Star-Shear invented sky terror.

Much Love ❤️❤️❤️
Realistically none of them should be able to fly left alone get off the ground except mabye Syrax because her wing membranes extend past her legs further down her tail
Caraxes could flew if his wings were
A. Longer and more narrow
B. The membrane extend far past his legs
C. Remove the balance wings on his legs and move them to were the wing membranes end to give him more life (think nightfurys from 'How to train your dragon')
D. Flattened his chest so he doesn't have this heavy weight source pulling him down and the weight is evenly spread out
Don't get me wrong their all beautiful and I get this is a fantasy story but if George chose the four limbs because of realism then the wings should also have been held to the same standard
Tbh these dragons would be perfect in water rather than the air 😅
