What people often don't realize, is that Core had their own shadow ports (like StarForge), it's own pirates and crime syndicates, tinpot dictators (of Imperial and local variety). There were crime-riden hellhols, like Metellos, the space Detroit. There was agri-worlds like Salliche, where Empire-backed agricorps and richs landowners operated their own private prisons and labor camps for dissidents (as described in "Round-up on Salliche" adventure from an old TTRPG). And who even knows, what goes on in Deep Core, with hundreds of Imperial warlords likely not knowing, that Empire seemingly "fell". "The Core world makes a difference", to rephrase old saying.

It's not Christmas until Geetsly gets out something dark about the Star Wars universe. Last year, it was HK-47. This year, it's the dark heart of the Empire in Sector 5. LOL.

Can you do a video about that secret hyperspace lane that was mentioned in the Citadel arc in the Clone Wars?

1:45 The what? Say that again?

@gehrigstory6674 9 months ago

YES! More long-form Geography/Astrography videos! This is what I want for Star Wars content, right here.

Seeing the Yevetha get wiped out by the Yuuzhan Vong has to be one of the funniest things I’ve read. They won’t be missed!

23:43 THE WHAT?! XD

Wouldn't Grevious' fleet have to drop out hyperspace occasionally since the hyperspace route isn't a straight line through the core?

That's my issue with the galaxy gun as well since the projectile would have to make so many turns to reach any target
