Happy 80th Birthday 🎂 to Smokey the Bear 🐻!!!

5:02. That’s a very unsafe way to use a portable ladder, Mr. Gabby is standing on the top rung.

Happy 80th anniversary, Smokey Bear!

I remember finding out this show existed back in 2019! For a while, I only knew Smokey from that really creepy "What can you create with 10 sticks?" PSA that we all may have seen at least several times in our lives.

5:50. 6:44. Nothing like some explosions to help liven up a 1969 cartoon!

I have seen many of the legendary
Arthur Rankin, Jr. and Jules Bass cartoons, but never this one.

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS (1974) happens to be the first cartoon, i have ever seen from these two legendary animators, when i was a little boy back in the late 1980's.
Or was it in the early 1990's?

Plus, i admit, that Rankin and Bass inspired me to grab into some pencils and papers and practice for drawing my own art works 🖋️🖊️✏️🖍️ 😺👍.
Pretty amazing, isn't it?

Anyway, thanks for sharing this video,
and greetings from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮.
