Even being Indian, I am proud of coke studio because of the they way they are keeping the classical method alive.

Wait till you hear the 4th song of Season 14, called "Mehram".

The female vocalist on that song, Arooj Aftab, is nominated for 2 Grammys this year.

Abida Parveen is the first singer I saw who kind of made me realize that a song is also another way of painting or playing with the space. Her hand movements are always such a pleasure to watch. I discovered later that she is also an elite painter and I have to say that didn't surprise me at all! She is one of the best artist alive at the moment and whatever we can hear from her is a treasure to be cherished...Have to still say though that nothing has surpassed her Sufi essence more than 'Raqs-e-Bismal'...still use that sometimes to calm myself down to a peaceful sleep.

An older Coke Studio song, "Rang" by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri, is probably the best Coke Studio performance ever... Please check it out!

Mehram from Season 14 was the absolute best for me. It stole my heart and fed it back to me. It made me bawl like a baby. The song is perfection. Pakistani coke studio outdid themselves this time.

Guys hang in there… each song this season is so different, including with visual and auditory vibes… and one evokes deep sadness, the mirror image of Tu Jhoom… but amazing new level for live performance

Honestly, I liked this first track, but 'Mehram' stole my heart this season. I don't think there will be another track of such perfection this season, although the rest of the songs have all been really good so far, but 'Mehram' is peak transcendence. The two vocalists have soooo much harmony and soul, it's the perfect combination of lyrics, vocals and visuals. I've been listening to that track non stop and can't stop singing it for the past few days. Arooj's voice is the most haunting and lingering voice I've heard in Coke Studio thus far, and thats a very powerful testament to how amazing she sounds.

You guys need to listen to Kana Yaari, the next on Coke Studio release. First female rapper of Pakistan is performing in it. This season is dropping a bomb every Tuesday.

Two legends ❤️
The lyrics are from another world ... Transcending to other levels of consciousness within !
Coke Studio 14 is awesome so far 😎👌

"Tu Jhoom" literally translates to "sway in ecstasy" just for information

The dance seemed to be a stylised version of the dervish. It was beautiful

i think you should check the behind the scene videos titled "the magical journey" for each of these coke studio videos in the same video you hear the song. it is INCREDIBLEE the work they are doing to make each of these videos for this season

This season of Coke Studio has all original songs.. no remixes
Great reaction, you will love all songs this season, guaranteed :D

If you want to watch more of this season I highly suggest Mehram. I've listened to it multiple times each day since it released

Hi to both of you, thanks for the reaction. I never thought that it would be so hard to perform sitting while legs folded, as we in India have always seen performer's sitting with legs crossed, it was normal for us.  thank s again to educate me. From now on my respect for these performer's is even higher than before. Love from India.

Every season has a different music producer, this year it’s Zulfiqar “Xulfi”. He also worked on Nescafe basement.
My favorite is Rohail Hyatt. He was the producer of most of the early seasons and season 12 & 13. My second best are Ali Hamza and Zohaib kazi for season 11
And even though they are last in the list they are awesome as well, The Band Strings has produced many great songs.

So you can say coke studio has had 4 music producers over the year and each with a different styles
- Rohail Hyatt
- Strings the band. (Bilal Maqsood and Faisal Kapadia )
- Ali Hamza and Zohaib Kazi
-Zulfiqar “Xulfi” (current music producer)

Each has their own unique season.

Edit: Rohail Hyatt has most of the early seasons of coke studio on his own YouTube channel.  “Rohail Hyatt.”
The songs even have English subtitles. Miyan ki Malhaar is a great one!

Most if not all of coke studio Pakistan on their own YouTube channel have English subs, so it’s great to watch their videos and understand the meanings. Also the ones on Rohail Hyatt own YouTube channel have English subs and behind the scene stuff.

Coke studio Pakistan and coke studio India are different. Most of coke studio India’s video unfortunately gets blocked when people try to react. But Ki banu duniya da from coke studio India is great too.

Good to have you guys back reacting to Pakistani music React to more coke studio please pure talent❤️

This is one song that we all should listen to and feel its dept. Its lyrics are specially written and beautifully preform by our Pakistani legends for each and every one of us in this world. Thank you Coke Studio for this glorious masterpiece.

Welcome to the world of "Live Music Videos".

Coke Studio is bringing a new and fresh concept this season. Every song is recorded live, with choreography, on a set designed according to the mood/meaning of the song).
