Onride video with lighting and exterior shots of the 3-story "Halloween" ghost train, built by Ride Technic and operated by the fairground company "Rasch," at the Pützchens Markt 2026 fair in Bonn. The ride boasts elaborate and varied theming, but unfortunately offers few highlights for the rather high ticket price. The ride begins in a special cage-style gondola with safety bars, ascending a spiral ramp to the top floor, followed by a longer balcony ride past various monsters, skeletons, zombies, mummies, and other ghosts. After an illuminated drop, riders reach the second outdoor area, before a second illuminated drop leads to the area with the most figures, which also includes a few surprises such as a water-spouting ghost. Unfortunately, some figures trigger the lights far too late or not at all during the ride, while others are barely noticeable. The extremely long slats at the entrances are particularly annoying, often obstructing a clear view of figures positioned directly behind them. On the other hand, the modern exterior offers some eye-catching features and moving figures, such as a giant moving pumpkin tree, bats, and rotating heads, as well as LED screens and strings of lights brimming with animations and effects. Overall, the ride has some good ideas, but plenty of room for improvement inside.
