🔥 Hi everyone! What were your thoughts about the film? Let us know in the comments !

Movies from the 90s especially the ones in the sci fi and thrillers were made very well and had original stories. The movies today are crap compared to the 90s. This is an example of a good 90s movie.

I remember renting this on VHS a long time ago
It holds up quite well. Not perfect but hundred times better that most of modern movies.
definitly happy to rewatch it in such a great quality.

Movies like from the 90’s keeps your attention from start to end. Very rare to have the same experience with modern cinema …

01:22:44 - "if you can't tend to your own planet, none of you deserve to live here"
wisest words ever said.

2026 anyone?

Love the guards lines "Kaminsky!!"
"We've got a real crime"
😂😂

Funny how that weather report at the end was thought to be excessive, but matches the weather in 2026 quite accurate

It's always so great discovering a fantastic 90s movie that I didn't watch back then. Such nostalgia 😄

Those alien terraforming factories (Planetcorp) are like Data Centers when you think about it...

As now an "adult" rewarching this movie and the 90's movies makes me remember the times when I was young watching movies w my mom and brotger on mbc2 in 2010's , lord bless that time and these movies. ... They taking me to times when life was simpler it's just not the movie it's everything that reminds me of the simplicity of watching a movie a'd enjoyi'g it w my sibling and mom when life had colors and wasn't so complicated when we were kids and were allowed to be alive , unlike thus adulthood mess that we are playing....

This is an example of a good sci fi with a good story ...

Charlie is a wonderful actor, after seeing this movie I realised it fully. He is too good.

I saw it 20 years ago and was fascinated. Then I couldn't find it for years. Finding it now is a delight. It has the staying power akin to Starship Troopers.

I have so much fun watching this movie! thanks a lot! I appreciate free movies on YT and especially that kind of classical Science Fiction.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Charlie Sheen, his troubles and comeback and the incredible story that emerged vindicate that soft spot. Maybe it’s because I took a similar path (sans the fame and fortune) or maybe it’s because I’ve always thought of him as someone’s son, who has a good heart but made some horrible choices. This movie is some of his best work and he agrees.

Saw this long ago on a hired counterfeit VHS copy and re-hired to watch it again back, then. Never forgot the film since. Was good to revisit it again after so long. But, this time its very strikingly coherent and relevant today!

Charlie's acting, no matter what movie, is always, fascinating

I must admit I didn't think this would be any good but boy was I wrong.  This is a fantastic movie.  Very believable and keeps you on the edge of your seat.  One of the best sci fi films I've seen.  Great cast, story, everything.  Even the aliens are believable.  You gotta watch this one, you will not be disappointed ❤❤❤❤

It's nice to see a movie with a story/plot line and built on a genuine dialogue, without leaning on all the special effects! They don't make 'em like they used too!😅

OMG! Can't believe this The Arrival movie was from year 1996! Great thought provoking movie!  Thank You So Much for sharing!  :hand-pink-waving:
