Dove Bar Soap is so nostalgic for me, my grandparents always used it. Also purchased the Estée Lauder perfume powder because that’s what my other Grandma wore, and it brings back so many wonderful memories every time I smell it. 🥰

I find that with bar soaps, my body feels really clean as opposed to a body wash.

Dove is my favorite bar soap. It just smells so nice and clean and vintage.

I recently fell in love with Pond’s cold cream. I also adore the vintage Coty’s Emeraude perfume. I read it launched in 1923 and it may be getting discontinued, which is heartbreaking for me. That’s always my luck.

I like the same Nivea cream in the blue tin.

I have always worn pearls even in my youth. I just adore them.

OK showing my age - mother used Nivea and I use Ponds in the blue lidded jar every night as my nighttime cream - also love Dove soap and at the moment - blue Pears which I have to get when I go to Toronto to visit the sisters coz they don't seem to carry it where I live...

I had the fire and ice perfume.

Those old vintage creams are fine but as you probably know as a nurse they do not incorporate the technology for anti-aging. There is no substitute now for retinol or retin a cream, You are still young so you may not realize it but retinal should be started in your 30s and then you can add all those vintage items that you like. Just my advice coming from someone in their 60s. Retinol has made all the difference to my skin

If you like Youth Dew you might like Ciara or Toujours Moi.

Bar soap dries out my skin except for Pears.

Loved it all! I remember those cushion rollers …and that mirror set is beautiful!!! I have EL White Linen dusting powder and the perfume.

Youth Dew still has a powder. I wonder if that may have been your grandmas.

I broke out from Ponds Cold Cream. So I wouldn’t use it. But I’m loyal to Vaseline.

I love Anais Anais, but after the reformulation, it just disappears in an hour and i can't smell it on my skin. Even if I use 10 sprays😢

I use dove bar soap to wash with every day. Smells amazing!

If you like Chanel No 5 and like vintage things, I would recommend trying “L’Aimant” by Coty. Developed in 1927, it’s a response to No 5. It’s fabulous and affordable. I’m wearing it today!
