My lawn mower seat had seen better days, time for a full restoration.
Complete process from removing the seat to rust proofing the pan and then recovering it with new vinyl backed with thin foam.

On a whim I decided to search fixing my riding mower seat. What I got was an extremely detailed video on how to upholster one. People like you are why I have to many hobbies. :) Great information, Thankyou for sharing your process.

It was already pretty much the cleanset lawnmower seat I have seen on any mower (of age)... but well done none the less!

This was improvised, first time you did this, so anyone can do it! 😆 Seriously, it was fun to watch such a demonstration of exceptional craftsmanship, the level of skill is very impressive. It's so rewarding being able to start from nothing and come up with useful, tangible, quality objects. Rock on! This isn't a ''How to'' DIY video... the actual ''How to'' here is : forget the project, go find someone who knows what he's doing and pay him to do the job...
