The Landowner Returns From Military Service… Must Tieu Ngoc and Grandma Give Back to the Land?
At 26 years old, I never imagined that after eight years of marriage, I would lose everything I once called home. Because I could not have children, my husband chose another woman, had a child with her, and forced me out of our home.
With nowhere else to go, I returned to my parents, hoping they would give me a place to stay. Sadly, they turned me away because they feared gossip and shame. In my darkest moment, my grandmother was the only person who stood by me and gave me a place in her heart.
Because she chose to protect me, my grandmother was also forced out of her home. From that moment on, my grandmother and I had nowhere to go and no stable place to live.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted woman gave us permission to stay in an abandoned house. The house was old, dirty, and neglected, but for my grandmother and me, it became the place where we could begin again.
In this first episode, my grandmother and I begin our new journey together. We clean the abandoned house, clear the overgrown surroundings, repair what we can, and slowly turn this forgotten place into a simple home.
We don't know what the future will bring, but we have decided to face it together.
This is more than a story about renovating an abandoned house.
It is the beginning of my journey with my grandmother—a journey of resilience, love, compassion, hope, and starting over after losing everything.

Today, the landowner came back to visit the old house. He and his mother have been incredibly kind and have given Grandma and me so much support and understanding. I truly believe they are both good-hearted people, and I’m very grateful for everything they have done for us. ❤
From now on, I will work as hard as I can and save every little bit of money. If possible, I hope that one day I can buy this piece of land so that Grandma and I can have a stable and long-term home here.
Do you think this is a good idea? If you were in my situation, would you also try to buy the land you are living on to build a more stable life?
Thank you so much for always loving, supporting, and staying with Grandma and me on this journey! ❤
