I might be 67 years old, but when I watch this, i am back to my clubbing days, and I used to well kind of dance, for hours on end, brilliant loved this soooooooo much
This track is dark, hypnotic, and hauntingly beautiful, perfectly capturing that gothic, new-wave essence that She Past Away is known for. The deep basslines, eerie synths, and mesmerizing rhythm make it impossible not to move—a true post-punk/darkwave masterpiece!
🕷 Paired with Wednesday Addams’ iconic dance energy, this song becomes even more intoxicating! Who else feels like letting loose with some dark, hypnotic moves? 🖤💃
Definitely stunning! She dances very strangely, but doesn't make it ridiculous and that's just how Goths dance, just think of Robert Smith's hairstyle^^. No offense intended, I love Robert Smith! In any case, she is not only breath-taken strange, but also breath-taken pretty! And "She Past away" is a completely underrated gothic post-punk gem from Turkey.
No pale moon tonight
Darkness creeps in
Into my soul into my heart
Wondering, wondering
Can't stop pondering
This morose condition
Tearing me apart
No full moon tonight
beauty grows in the darkness of light
Tearing me down
Building a wall
Hammering sorrow
Voices are murmuring
No one hears me at all I'm gonna fall
No silver moon tonight
grows quiet
There's no breeze
No rustling leaves
Pounding, Pounding
Insecurities hounding
Who will bare witness
as sanity flees
No lonely moon tonight
Darkness creeps in
Into my soul my thoughts
and into my head
Talking softly at the absent
of moon light shaking
so that I may crawl back
into a restless bed thinking of you
my beautifully beauty who’s dead
She Past Away might have made some of the best goth dance songs over the last decade or so. It's always cool to see punk/ post-punk and goth bands from Eastern Europe and Central Asia. I'd love to see She Past Away do a tour with Molchat Doma one day...
Combining the gorgeous Jenna Ortega and the brilliant She Past Away is a marriage made in, if not heaven, then in some kind of fantasy Gothic castle ballroom. Rituel is just an ace piece of music. Jenna's incredible self-choreographed dance is weird but graceful at the same time; I adore the way she throws her head on one side. I wish we could all have that fearlessness in hitting a dance floor without caring what anyone else thinks or does (it was easier in the 80s). Those eyes, though - ahhhhh!!!! Hypnotising.
A few weeks ago, I was chatting with a friend about how manifesting never seemed to work for me. I’d tried so many methods but still felt stuck. We heard about a book called Manifest the Unseen by Luna Rivers on a podcast, and I was hesitant at first. But after reading just a few chapters, I realized how much I was missing. Luna's approach is so different from anything I’ve ever tried. It’s not just about thinking positive, it’s about aligning with real-world actions that bring your desires into reality. Now, I’ve manifested opportunities I never imagined possible, and my mindset has shifted completely. If you’re frustrated like I was, don’t hesitate. Read this book. It will change everything ❤
I love how she inspired the pink-haired girl. And the underlying message that you dont have to look a certain way to be inspirational, cool, accepted, sexy, etc.
