Major correction: Katy has nine state championships and not seven. We apologize for the error. Our counting intern has been fired.

The most impressive thing about this whole video is you got Coach Gary Joseph to smile. You dont know how rare that is lol

This has gotta be one of the few high school football games that it’s perfectly normal for a 30 year old with no kids to attend.

RocaSports came for the stadium, but discovered a five-star principal, five-star school, five-star community, and five-star culture.

I think a lot of people are focusing on whether this is the best stadium in Texas, but I don't think that's why Katy was the right choice for this feature. The stadium is the showcase, but the real story is everything behind it. What stood out to me was the principal knowing his school beyond football, from the nationally recognized poultry program to the history and traditions that connect the school and community. The video showed what makes Katy special: generations of alumni who still identify with the school, people who see the Katy logo around town and instantly have a family connection, longtime volunteers and fans who have supported Katy for decades, and a community that takes pride in the success of the entire school, not just the football team. Katy may not have the newest or most expensive stadium in Texas, but this video showed why it's one of the premier schools and communities in the state. Great choice by RocaSports. The stadium gets the attention, but the people, traditions, history, and culture are what make Katy stand out.

The whole south Texas/ Houston area takes football very serious. lol

As a Cincinnati Elder alum, I feel the tradition, standard, and excellence. Their old stadium reminds me of our current stadium. Well done Katy.

The crazy part is when you say Katy is an hour away from Houston but we honestly think of it as part of Houston.

I appreciate the Poultry championship mention at 1:37 😂 I was a member of the 2025 national championship team.

I'm not American, but to me this summed up America in Texas on a Friday night. Respectful, thoughtful kind and hospitable people as you mentioned, all getting together to be together under the lights. Families, Elderly, School mates, Local community, School staff, and more. It sure is a football game but it's so much more. I remember going to similar sporting events on Fridays here in New Zealand as a kid and the night felt like it could go on forever. Exploring, roaming, watching, creating fun, getting amongst it. Love the videos Roca. Keep it up.

This legitimately is a better atmosphere than most Sun Belt and MAC games. It’s crazy.

Grew up in Katy and played football at Katy. Won state in 2012, a lot of us on that team grew up watching Katy football and winning that title was like winning the Super Bowl

MY town!!! I live right across the street from their stadium!!! We've lived here for 50 plus years

It's not "Katy Stadium".  It is called Legacy Stadium...

These high school kids are already media trained too sheeesh

Absolute pleasure to see Roca giving my alma matter some showtime. The video alone doesn't do Katy High School enough justice.  This place is in and of its own a spectacle. With Katy being as populated and diverse as it is now, the school culture has stuck through it all. Would love to see y'all expand more on the AG & FFA sides of Katy and the whole world of FFA as a whole. It is a whole world with its own unique culture and traditions.

Y'all did a fantastic job with this!  Thank you.  It is important to note that the stadium featured at the beginning is one of two shared with 9 other high schools.  Many (most?) of the old school Katy fans prefer Rhodes too.

Proud Katy alum!

The gym is the same quality as top colleges.
Bungie Dalton has the same smile with zero Lombardi hoists.🤣💪💪💍

Our high school played against Wyatt's dad back in the 1999 playoffs. They destroyed us and we had multiple guys who were signed to D-1 scholarships and a few who were signed to top 10 NCAA football teams including some giys who were 4x100 relay 5A Champions (Before 6A existed). The reason they were so good is because their coach and players are extremely serious about being great from top to bottom.

Funfact! 90% of the broadcasting crew is a mix of students either part time or volunteering!! Also some of the places you pointed out aren’t suites but press boxes, storage, or electrical equipment. Other than that great video coming from someone that works there
