The Bible’s Biggest Contradictions — And Why They Matter More Than You Think
What if the contradictions in the Bible aren’t flaws…
But fingerprints?

In this powerful breakdown, Darante’ LaMar unpacks some of the Bible’s most undeniable contradictions — not hidden in footnotes, but printed in plain sight.
From who saw God, to who killed Goliath…
From who carried the cross, to how salvation even works…

These aren’t nitpicks.
They’re fault lines.
And if you were told the Bible is perfect, these contradictions don’t just challenge your beliefs — they challenge your foundation.

📜 What you’ll learn in this video:

Why Moses “saw God” in Exodus, but “no one has seen God” in John

How David and Elhanan both supposedly killed Goliath

Why God “never changes His mind”… except when He does

How Judas died — and how it changes, depending on the Gospel

What happens when salvation is “by grace alone”… and “not by faith alone”

How these contradictions reveal human editing, evolving theology, and rewritten history

📢 If you were taught the Bible agrees with itself…
If you’ve been told it’s all “one story” from beginning to end…
If you’ve been afraid to ask the questions because you thought it meant losing your faith…

This video is your permission slip.

Because truth that can’t survive contradiction…
Was never truth to begin with.

The ppl who need this aren't watching, and the ppl watching already agree.

How people still believe that that old book was inspired by a perfect God is crazy to me. 😂

There are times when I think a lot of people don't really believe the Bible is "univocal" - It doesn't matter what the Bible says to them, it's just a tool that gives them authority.

Hell, when I was a kid, I asked a pastor why with all 4 Gospels the details on who saw Jesus after he rose were different. For what is supposed to be the seminal moment of the religion, they couldn't even get that detail right.

"No no there aren't really any contradictions, all the stories are complementary and fit together perfectly, just check out all this fanfiction I wrote"

I just wanted to say I went back and verified every claim you made, line by line, and not once did I find you off. Everything you presented was spot on, both textually and from a scholarly standpoint. I’m genuinely impressed.

I’m really glad I found your channel. I’ll admit I fact-checked you, not because I doubted you personally, but because there’s so much misinformation floating around on YouTube, and unfortunately a lot of people just take it at face value.

Your content stands out as thoughtful, well researched, and grounded. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s needed.

Faith is the willful abandonment of logic and reason.

The spiritual freedom from escaping the church is like breathing for the first time.

Sir, your counter-apologetic monologues are among the very best of this genre on this platform. It is thoughtful, succinct, and well laid out. I see many others gravitating to the interview and "buddy chit-chat" kind of episodes that I find, waters down the content, and confuses the message. I would imagine that those who are actively deconstructing need this kind of condensed, to-the-point content that gives them the ability to focus on the real issues, inconsistencies, and nonsensical nature of religion, generally, and Christianity specifically. Having point by point ammunition will help them fight off the years of in-grained indoctrination we've all had. Christianity's ultimate carrot-and-stick simplicity is a difficult selling point to overcome, but, I feel content like yours will prove invaluable.

Christians: " That's the Old Testament. We don't go by that anymore."

Also Christians: " The Old Testament prophecy said Jesus would come."
Also Christians: " God created everything in Genesis."
Also Christians: " The Ten Commandments are not suggestions."

Darante you are the man! I had no idea there was a ‘community’ for this sort of thing until recently.

Bro if your work grows and you ever want to put on a live event I got you on all audio/visual production services. I’m based in Central Alabama only 2.5 hours from Dothan. Much love!

Love the approach to disputing biblical inerrancy. A person doesn’t have to be Atheist to believe that the Bible is a collection of books expressing people’s understanding of God. So many people that I know insist on inerrancy and “clear doctrine” but only by their own definition.

God is like the old Soviet Union; if they are wrong about something then they pretend that they never said that in the first place.

I hope your channel becomes viral in its entirety. Excellent work!!!

Paul and James complementary? The OG Protestant Reformer, Martin Luther himself, didn't think so! He famously called James "an epistle of straw" and sought to have it removed from the New Testament. In fact, if I recall correctly, he actually did exclude it from his German translation of the Bible, and it was only after his death that later Lutherans put it back in. Now THAT'S something I don't think you hear much about outside of Lutheran or Catholic circles. Yes, Luther, the patron saint of Protestantism, sought to change the Bible! By the way, I just learned that there are Christians who consider Lutherans to be another kind of Catholic and therefore not Christian. Poor ML, he must be rolling in his grave!

Glad you brought up Judas. When I saw that, that was the first time that I realized the Bible wasn’t perfect. After I was able to see that, I was then able to see many many many more examples, but that opened my eyes.
