Wooden Boat School - Brooklin, Maine
Setting up his easel on a rather wet morning, Roger uses acrylics to paint the rocky shoreline by the school in the soft overcast light. The painting begins with a toned board of Burnt Sienna giving the piece an overall warm look. A limited palette is used to simplify the process of painting on location. Sarah tours the famous Wooden Boat School where students plan and build a variety of fabulous wooden boats of varying sizes.
