Sony is no longer making physical discs for PlayStation consoles starting in January 2028.

Just remember, if something "makes sense on paper", paper is an age-old physical media

Scott was ahead of the times, apparently.

Sony watched this video and said “you know what would be really funny?”

Someone needs to tell Scott that 55 minutes is not a "snippet"

Seeing the last video be his earliest is like playing the Legend of Zelda games chronologically and realizing the 1st NES game is near the end of one of the split timelines.

I respect Scott for rerendering Season 1 episodes with the slimmer border. Nice touch

"Man, remember when things were worse? I miss that."

To be honest, from a retro gaming perspective, I'd rather see the entire game on the cart or no cart at all.

Yeah and now I can literally get a 12 year old game for full price digitally or go buy a disc for $1.99. This is Satan, you’re right Scott.

This channel is basically akin to when we’d watch TV shows on cable; we’d watch reruns of our favorite shows on TV during the week while we waited for the next new episode to air on Friday or the weekend.

I'm never getting a digital only console. They say the cloud is the future? Count me out of that, man.

The japan physical copy thing, i think it’s because japan has a law where if you sell physical copies it has to be complete on disc and cannot require internet download

@Retroplayer9914 3 years ago

"So naturally, Wario's next" still one of the best lines in his videos

The “Stadia 🤮“ deserves a Tony Award.

When is the digital gaming industry gonna realise that Scott just wants a box with Mario on it?! When will the tyranny end?!

@NeoTechni 3 years ago

You forgot to mention Sony's worst example of digital stores, PS Mobile, which was shut down in such a way that rendered the games you downloaded and paid for, unplayable.
