I have the Knuckles and the Lion '68 on my board and they're great on their own. But adding the Ox Stomp really did the trick, it costs as much as one of their amp sims but- it has endless cabs in it and reverb, delay, compressor, EQ, and modulation- it's nuts. It's way more than just a cab sim. The only complaint I have with it- no bass cabs in it. It does have some 4x10 Bassman cabs in it, you could technically use them- but they don't sound that great on bass tbh. But- when you match the right cab with the right amp sim- it's crazy how good it sounds. Plus, it's made for home recording so it works great with an interface and having that master volume comes in super handy, now you can turn down and stop clipping your DAW without changing your tone. I can't recommend it enough for ppl who like to record at home- you can use it for live performances as well, but it really shines in the studio. Ifgf you play covers it's perfect because the cabs are titled after songs they're based on- and it gives you the entire tone, not just the cab but all the post FX they used as well. To be able to shift from say the Metallica Black album tone to little wing in like 2 minutes time- is really handy. It used to take me hours twiddling knobs to find something close, now you can push a couple buttons and viola, you're much closer than I could ever get you.

I can't understand why the pedal and the app aren't unified. I need to use both the pedal and the app to create a tone, and after saving, I'll never know what the balance settings were because they're simply not there. Furthermore, why can't I just adjust and save my presets through the computer? The pedal is great, but the operation is terrible.

I also have a Knuckles pedal and I love it. But I have to say that I find its bass a bit excessive. I know the Dual Rectifier is known for that cavernous tone, but it seems like the Knuckles went even further. If I could change anything about it, it would be that. In your video, I didn't feel that; I thought everything was great.

So stereo in this example will essentially double the track giving you a thicker sound (two guitar lines vs one)? Get this is a somewhat obv and “dumb” question but just want to confirm that. Running it mono would effectively be a lower output or if you adjust the gain/vol settings can you achieve the same sound?

I cant get into the app with my phone,android ...or my computer win10 .... How on earth do we get into the app , should nt it open by itself????

UA has made some convincing amp recreations. For the price of these pedals, who can justify buying real amps anymore.
While this pedal is great at what it does, it's not the tone I'm after these days. Unfortunately, Metal is no longer my cup of tea for playing in bands.
