when my best friend used to live in polk county w their mom, their mom was almost MURDERED by her abusive husband at the time, and SHE was arrested for starting a scene by sherrif judd himself. ive seen boze react to clips and videos and its always lived in the back of my mind.  just be mindful of these “funny” cops because all these cops work for the same corrupt system, many of them are not good ppl who joined for good reasons, and the ones who DID join for good reason tend to be let go by their supervisors for doing the right thing. im so happy hes finally getting his lashings

This sheriffs office made a 14yr old write 2 apology letters, one to her abusive (sxually) step dad, and one to the officers for 'lying'. The abuse then continued when they refused to act, and only until the girl got VIDEO PROOF did they act. VIDEO PROOF. Itd be reasonable to need more evidence, but demanding she writes an apology letter is horrible. Shes suing them now in pretty sure - jidion posted about it

I hate hate when people use their disabilities/mental issues to justify their actions knowing damn well it’s not ok. Like, yeah dude, it can EXPLAIN WHY you do certain things/feel a certain way/struggle with certain stuff, but it DOESN’T JUSTIFY YOU. It’s still your responsibility to act accordingly and find ways to deal with your problems.
